  • Silver is like copper, pleanty out there. The price is so jacked now on silver. It is still only worth around 4 dollars an ounce. Strong believer of what goes up must come down. I would not buy on the up side. The markets are fixed so the people don;t control the price of silver the big 6 do. Now I only buy below spot because I got to make my money. Wish you luck buddy. See how it works people? Hope I taught you something.

  • I choose bars over round coins..Why you ask. resale....you lose on rounds.

  • Both. Kobayashi maru.

  • Rounds! Easier to sell so I don;t have to claim taxes

  • Personally I would rather have 100 1oz rounds than a 100oz bullion bar. When prices go up its going to be much easier to sell off 1oz rounds/coins than it is to sell off a 100oz bullion bar.

  • Holy shit! 300 ounce = $8,376.00 !

  • Yeah i'm more into small increments of silver especially government minted coins.

  • you sir just won a subscription.

  • Another great video Greg.

  • Donkeys

  • I WOULD PREFER 100 OZ OF COKE

  • 1 year after this video was shot, that $1850 bar was worth $5000.

  • @DontTread0nMe1776 We are Jan 1st and we are not even close

  • @MsH1h1h1h1 January 1st 2012

  • Hi, I am doing a mock business for my Marketing Class.. Just curious what you do with the scrap gold after you buy them? For instance, do you sell it to some refinery at spot? Or do you smelt them yourself and resell it, etc.?

  • @oak415

MELT IT ALL AT THE REFINER.

  • right on dude ive used him to hes awsome i tried to sell my 100 oz bar and no one wanted then so if it goes to 100 bucks no one will be able to buy it but the rounds will sell fast i got 200 of those halfs they are way cool i love silver and gold but most americans have no idea whats going down with the dollar my sister inlaws answer is to print more paper money im sure that will do it for us lol lol

  • I like the 1oz and 5oz bars because you can sell them if you need cash short term (kind of like cash but a better investment). The bigger bars are a big commitment to make.

  • Hey Ryan you should interpret better. I said if you can get 100 oz in 200 half rounds or just one 100 oz solid bar, that you should get the 200 rounds.

  • Hi everyone, would you like to buy a piece of sliver coin for and GET PLENTY MORE for FREE?

  • I would rather have 1 ounce stacker bars. They are just nicer to me.

  • Well if you look on craigslist, i've seen the same 100oz silver bar for sale for the last 2 months!! THE GUY CAN'T SELL IT & he is at spot price. All the rounds and silver eagles I see SELL THE FIRST DAY! Hope this helps! Thanks

  • @IJustLikeToPlay

TODAY 100 OZ BARS ARE SOFT.

    ESPECIALLY AT TODAYS PRICES...

  • @ScrapGoldBusiness Thanks!!...yeah, the average person can't drop over $4,000 for a 100 oz bar. SO it is more economical to buy smaller quantities over a longer period of time and only spend a couple hundred. It should be easier to sell if the price of silver hits $200 or $300 an ounce. ***i'm think of buying more 90% silver rather than Silver Eagles, what do you think!? Should I just keep with the Silver Eagles for investment reasons?

  • @IJustLikeToPlay

I PREFER A MIX OF ALL TYPES....

  • @IJustLikeToPlay careful with craigslist, there are a lot of Russians on there looking to sell counterfeit products

  • I'm a round fan.

  • What do you think of Northwest Territorial Mint one-ounce Stagecoach Silver rounds (scored to be divisible into 1/4 ounce pieces)?

  • @11mac11s lmfao i dont think you will find any in here :)

  • IMHO if you can get 200 1/2 oz peices for same prize as a 100 oz bar. Its a no brainer.

  • @snapsalot Wrong... You can sell the rounds piece at a time obviously. This means you will have more people pay premium prices than one premium price on a bar. Suckers love ebay. 1 ounce Scottsdales are going for the last 3 weeks have been selling for 41-45 an ounce when silver has player $29-$34. If you can make $5 every coin, or even lets say $3. That more than you'll end up getting for a bar

  • COLLECTING SILVER IS WHERE ITS AT. YOU WATCH WHAT HAPPENS IN THE NEXT YEAR IN THE WORLD. MARK MY WORDS. YOU WILL COME BACK HERE JUST TO COMMENT ME. WE ARE IN FOR SOME CRAZY TIMES REAL SOON.

  • @NautHumonTV I can not tell you how many idiots say :"silver won't be worth anything in a SHTF world cus you cant eat silver" Yes invest in food and weapons. but also invest in silver. even if the entire world collapsed silver would still have worth, you know why? Because SILVER HAS ACTUAL USES. Silver may be used to repair electronics like computers. Silver is an even better conductor than copper so overall makes better wireing and filaments. silver also has a lot of medicinal properties.

  • love

  • JM is more popular than ENGELHARD

  • I prefer coins, eagles, maples, phils, cookuburas, morgans etc. If rounds I prefer common name and size, Apmex, PanAmerican, etc

  • i make sterling silver bars , due too its so much easyer too get then .999 fine silver.. but there isnt much differ in price.. and yes , I - we have a smelter..to make the bars.. i preffer smaller bars easy too trades..

  • Id rather have food water and ammo

  • @tschuler3 those are good as well, but if you have he means silver is a much better way of going than saving cash. Do you plan to be self sufficient forever? If not your going to need some kind of spending power to get the things you need. Unlike barter with items. things like gold and silver will be accepted by just about everyone as they are an easier way to exchange wealth for goods. You might not have what your friend wants, but you can give him silver so he can buy from someone else.

  • (200) 1/2 ounce rounds for sure. In event of a dollar collapse you will have a hard time getting rid of/melting down that big bar of silver. I want something that is easily bartered with.

  • @cjsoccer09 In the same token, if the dollar doesn't totally collapse before you want to get into other assets (eg real estate), getting rid of 1000-1/2 oz coins would be harder that 10-100 oz bars.

  • Yes silver is silver, however how much safe storage space do you have? Would you rather store 5 - 100oz bars or 1000 - 1/2 ounce rounds or 500 - 1 ounce rounds. Spot price should be the same per ounce. Next, who is your buyer? If it is a plain Joe on EBay, then smaller amounts are more practical. If you are selling to a high volume dealer (e.g. Tulving) then you need 500oz minimum, then the large bars make sense. In short, it depends on your storage & intended buyer.

  • I would rather have 200 half ouncers, but it is cheaper to buy a 100oz bar when you are buying silver from a mint...

  • I got a 100 oz Englehard bar today for 3400 CAD.

  • 200x1/2 ounces are way more valuable than 100 oz bar. aswell easier to split up and see if any of them are fake!

  • Does it matter in any way which brand your bar of silver is, as long as it is .999 (or better) I would think?

  • @aslkfja

    ENGLEHARDT IS BEST...

  • @ScrapGoldBusiness

    And why is that?

Is US silver better than Chinese silver e.g.?

  • @aslkfja

    speaking of 100 oz bar...

  • @ScrapGoldBusiness Scottsdale silver is the best

  • @ScrapGoldBusiness Hiya, :) i live in ireland nd im having a hard time trying to find somewhere that sells silver coins so i went on ebay, and i bought 10, 1 gram bars, 4 like 25euro including p&p, afterwards i went back on youtube and typed in 1 gram silver bar, and seen how teeny weeny it is, they looked really big in the pic, (enlarged pic) im really new to this, and the word gram didn register with me until after i clicked buy lol, do u know if 10 1 gram bars would b worth that?

  • @cuddleTrouble08 10 grams is about 1/3 oz. At 40 USD per oz, that means 13 USD or approximately 9 Euros + p&p.

  • The smaller the round the more flexible it is. 1/2 rounds sounds good.

  • The silver Panda's blow anything away.

  • @smasila Bullion is Bullion, it doesn't matter what it looks like, weight and purity counts.

  • you would need the secret service escorting you to the coin shop if/when silver prices soar if you are lugging around a 100 oz bar. Imagine if the economy crashes, how many people will be waiting to rob/steal what best place than a cash for gold shop.

  • I would do the same with a 100oz bars. Thanks for the vid

  • Where can I buy Half ounce walking libertys? I would like to purchase some fractional silver as I have an ample stock of one ounce silver rounds.

  • @TheElkton

    PM me....

    Greg

  • if silver is 21 an ounce what would you pay for canadian pre 67 ? a 100 ounce bar ?

and how do you feel about trusting the company that makes the rounds ?

  • @throwerofturds

    Try to only do American.

    QSB is a great company!

    Good luck!

    Greg

  • Hello, Is your trade of 300 ounces of silver bars for 600 1/2 oz. liberty rounds free of a premium? Your video sounds as if this guy will give you 600 1/2 oz.rounds for your 300 oz of silver bars. You never mentioned what the trade premium is, if there is one. I have several hundred ounces of bars as well and would like to trade for the 1/2 oz. liberty's.... Please advise

  • @nyanga4338 Cost was like .50 a round for there costs.

Worth it as the premium I get is $3. and more.

These are mirror finish proof plus!

  • Hi, can you please advice what are the dimensions for the JM or EH 100 oz bullion?

  • I stopped buy silver because I can't lift all of it and I am very strong. I am just buying gold now.

  • @32937isready lucky bastard

  • @32937isready Why do you want to lift all your silver at once? Unless you plan to transport it on a plane or other public transport? Otherwise, when you sell, just put it into several carry bags in your car.

  • You're in gainesville? Me too, and I love silver. I've got about 100 ounces so far.

  • I have the choice of a 100oz bar of silver or a 1oz bar of gold, what should i choose?

  • @Auric1964 SILVER!

  • @Auric1964

100oz of silver is owrth more then 1oz of gold... choose that,

  • rabbit on abit . for a 9 minute video I could have made the point in a minute

  • Without a doubt smaller sizes and more! The smaller sizes sell at higher novelty prices especially on places like ebay. You seem to get a much larger customer base as you get people that buy for the novelty of it or to give as gifts and they just see the small price and see it as a good deal! Very easy to accumulate larger premiums faster, but a little more time intensive.

    Jeff

    Madison WI area.

  • im invested in the 100oz bars 4 max profits.

  • Most people should stay away from 100-1000oz bars. When the shit hits the fan, not many people are going to want these.

I stick with pre-1964 junk silver coins... they're small and easy to barter with, portable and most easily recognized.

  • @JP5466 Yep so right, better to have lots of smaller increments of silver.Much easier to find a buyer/barterer.

  • I would rather have the smaller denominations. It is the same weight, but much easier to divide that the bulk stuff. Personally, I would not have anything over one ounce.

  • Good Idea

  • Hey, the 1 TR oz walking liberties are just as good ad the 1/2 TR oz. In fact I personally believe the 1 TR oz walking liberty from QSB are better.

  • Hey Greg.....thanks for the plug to my channel and I agree, the 1/2oz Liberty Walkers at QSB are certainly a nice coin to remind many of the Half Dollar. I can understand why they would sell well. Looks like you made your transaction with good timing. Oh Man! How I sleep goood at night. :>)

    Mike

  • I traded up some 100 oz bars for 90% Roosevelt dimes. I had bought them early in my investing history, before I had learned more of the ins and outs (thanks, Mike!), and was happy to get a batch of junk silver, instead. QSB does have some very nice rounds, and Jim has earned an excellent reputation. =^[.]^=

  • id rather convert that to 90%silver us half dollars.

  • Yes, They charge me .95 per 1/2 ounce per coin. I am able to get that easy +++ as a premium for these coins in a roll or individually. They also give me a substancial discount for a larger amount for doings so.

1 oz. Eagles in a Monster Box go for about $1.95 each over spot at Gainsville or Blue Moon Coins.

I am very happy just to get rid of these big bars and get something more viable.

    Thanks for asking!

    Greg

  • Does QSB charge for melting down your 100 oz bars and? I think they do because it does take alot of work to convert those bars to half ounce rounds....
