  • yeah that's right, u converted this piece into romanticism which i love.

  • i think the intepretation is quite cute! while Lang2 make it sound like in a rush

  • I like this piece played very loudly, ( my favorite is Horowitz ), but I must say sir, you are a MASTER of interpretation, and easily the greatest interprater of Chopin. You present a unique way to hear and listen to Chopin's music. I hope you become globally know one day.

  • He made Chopin sound like Debussy...

  • why the shocking distortion? this isn't Chopin. this is crazy.

  • @organboi

this is not crazy... even if it is, only Chopin has the right to kick his ass..

  • no me convence del todo, mueve exageradamente sus brazos, ademas es una pieza bastante mas rápida, liga demasiado y hace demasiadas pausas y cortes en donde no debiera, sin embargo tiene habilidad definitivamente, buena ¿?

  • i would honestly watch lang lang play any song instead of hear this rendition again. the term 'romantic' is in regards to era not in loooong draaawwn out (aka melodramatic) phrasing for a song that's supposed to be about national pride. i would probably play it this way if i was just trying to show off for a woman i was trying to get with than a musically critical and analytical audience. the player has phenomenal fingers, but this interpretation loses all the original meaning in the song.

  • @captmcspankem The DANGERS of 'interpretation' revealed in all its glory.

  • @captmcspankem VERY ASTUTE AND FUNNY COMMENT! i would do the same if trying to impress a woman on a date. Hilarious comment. :)

  • @organboi

I doubt you would ever try to impress a woman! ;)

  • great!!!

  • Ooops! I just read your monologue and you were at a recital hall. I just saw the lamp and thought you were having a home demo like my former teacher used to have at our house in front of my friends to practice for her big debut.

    You are simply amazing!

  • If this is in your home, you've got GREAT ACCOUSTICS! And the base on that piano is phenomenal!

I love the beginning it sounds sort of like Spanish romantic. lol Like De La Rocha.

  • WOW! Now this is a new interpretation. I reall love the beginning. Sounds so of romantic. Hmm...never heard it like that before. I like how you make it your own. I also love your emotions as part of your performance. SPLENDED!

  • u give the wrong meaning in the song. u kinda lost the feeling chopin would give.

  • A very musical interpretation !!!

  • Bella interpretazione!! Il tuo approccio a questo celeberrimo pezzo di Chopin è più romantico ma non meno appassionato di molti pianisti che tendono, suonando questa Polonaise, ad esagerare in virtuosismi.

    Complimenti!

  • this rendition is unique, iridiscent, clever... is the first time that i hear this polonaise played with intelligence... not rare in you, my sweet honey....

  • @rolipoli is this roberto poli?

  • @ThePsill Of course not. Just a curious coincidence.
