  • hehehe! the dude was freakin out over a common hybrid centinal golden trout ..lol

  • I live in Petersburg,wv its clearly a golden trout I see about 20 of them everytime I go fishing their just hard as hell to catch

  • Not a golden trout. It's usually called an albino trout. Hatcheries stock them because they are easy to see so they get fewer complaints from the public that the fish and game are not stocking enough fish.

  • its an Albino trout.

  • that is 100% NOT A GOLDEN TROUT

  • I think it us California's state fish, the golden trout. But they are only native to high altitude lakes.

  • @direenfool truckee river

  • Mmm

  • I can't believe any fisherman calling this a brown trout, golden or albino, it is what prokhk said it is - a lightning trout.

  • its a golden trout, not really a freak of nature. Its just a different kind of trout like a rainbow or brown.

  • That is called a lightning trout there are a few in a lake near my house. People bread them to be yellow.

  • The music! LOL

  • thats an albino and im sure of it i work with trout for a living.

  • it's, it's a........I don't know what it is but kill it, before it gets you. kill 'em, kill 'em all............not, handle with care!

  • its a palomino

  • @deuceofdaggers

deuceofdaggers is 100% correct. it IS a palomino.

  • its called a brown trout

  • Looks like a golden rainbow, but the golden is dominant. You havent seen anything until youve seen a volcano golden pure breed. google it

  • Albino?

  • north311 - it's for sure a trout. a stocker... wvturkeyhunter is right on the money as well...

  • This is a rainbow trout. A single rainbow in the early 1950's was hatched in petersburg WV that was this golden color. Through selective breeding a population of this color was developed. Hatcheries still breed WV golden trout and stock them in the streams for anglers.

  • DEFINITELY an Albino Trout. We have lots of them that get stocked here in the small mountains lakes and streams in the Wasatch Mountains here in Utah. Dryfly00 is 100% correct. Definitely a stocked trout.

  • looks like the fish and game guys made a hybrid between a golden and a mountain whitefish or a rainbow and the mountain whitefish i caught one out of the carson river about 10 years ago in nevada and it was about 6.5 lbs great fight alot of fun never saw one again.

  • That is a Palamino Trout, not an Golden Trout. The Golden trout is a true Native trout species that exists in the high mountain creeks and lakes of Wyoming , Idaho and California, they can only survive in the most prestine pollution free waters. Few to no spots on that yellow/orange background w/ white undersides is a Palamino. Palaminos are often farm raised and dispersed into private ponds as well as public fisheries as they are a popular species for sight fishing.

  • You guys are sadly mistaken, well except for Dryfly00, what you have here is a commonly stocked Golden Rainbow Trout. Obviously the fish'n musican isn't an avid angler or else he'd know that.

  • it called a lightning trou everybody. i caught one at lake poway (in san diego california) and the ranger told me that what its called. i looked it up later, and that is what it was. they give a good fight

  • I hate that people call these golden trout because they're not they are a golden rainbow trout. There is a huge difference because a golden trout is a beautiful native fish from California and a golden rainbow is just a stocker fish.

  • i swear it's a golden.

  • You guys are literally on the fringe of mentally retarded. Its not a golden trout. Its a GOLDEN RAINBOW TROUT. Its not an albino, its not a "golden trout, GOLDEN RAINBOW TROUT (Aka palimino, AKA lightning trout (used by rednecks))

  • no santot it itz golden i catch them all the time in my pond

  • So because you catch them all the time in your pond it makes it a Golden trout? And it is not a golden trout its a palamino or an albino rainbow. I'm a guide, I know.

  • its a golden rainbow trout. Or a Palamino rainbow trout

  • Dryfly i don't know why you bother with these idiots. If they want to think its some mythical magic fish let them. Us sane people know its a golden rainbow trout.

  • what did you catch it on

  • um....sure doesn't look like a golden, hard to tell with the dirt all over it though. i have to agree with santotot, looks like a pic i've seen of an albino

  • that is so ask the DNR i dare you and then comment me back
