Excellent video & some great footage that I've not seen before. Hendrix was a complete virtuoso. I feel like Eric Clapton did during the interview towards the end, extremely saddened. Man what a loss.
It's a shame I cannot upload the other 5 videos because Youtube doesn't allow me to. . . shame I can't share the Metallica, Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd parts.
@Mrpostman1011 I cant beleive that guy has the nerve to call hendrix weak. overcoming the fact that he had a horrible childhood with no support from his family, overcoming the racism of america in the 60s, and overcoming poverty to become the most famous guitar player in the world, and you call him weak!?
@7Fender4 would you like to shut up? Given the fact that I was talking about his childhood, the lack of his family support and the fact that he went to war because he had no other options etc obviously means that you know nothing about hendrix. I wasn't saying that he was a weak man, if you look at the comment that I put and used your eyes, you would see that I was quoting it from the video.I know quite a bit about music, I play guitar and drums so I have a fairly good insight as well.
It was Linda Keith who knew the Stones and other musicians, that first saw (or discovered even) Hendrix or Jimmy James as he was, playing in the back row of the house band at the Cheetah Club in Greenwich Village, She got maybe a couple of Record Company execs to see him who turned him down, before she tried Chas. They never seem give her much credit to Linda Keith for spotting his talent and getting Hendrix to the attention of right people.
Big thanks for the upload! Such a shame that Hendrix collapsed because of too much drugs and pressure. Thanks again for some really interesting footage!
@Kwaadvlieg let us see about that.. i prefer to upload it on youtube because of the larger audience reach, but if they are stopping me then i'll explore my options.. i have the part 3 uploaded already
There's a man who sits here and makes the guitar sound like a piano, but then you ask why don't you just use a piano? Because it sounds like a guitar.. lol

@Kwaadvlieg I think its a conspiracy. Revolutionary people over time have had the habit of just "dropping dead" one day.
