What film is this clip from? I recognize Ann Sothern and Bill Bixby, but I don't recall ever seeing this feature. Incidentally, I've met Diane Baker on several occasions. The last time I saw her was around the Christmas holiday. I always find her to be so friendly and charming. And yes, she is still quite beautiful!!
I was curious if you were American or English and now I saw on your profile that your from Switzerland. What led me to be curious was your use of the word "effectuated". Generally English people or Americans would say "the correction has been made". It's such an underused word and I just found it very interesting that you'd use it. I'm assuming English is not your native language. Out of curiosity what is your opinion of this actress and also what do you think about what I said about her?
Diane Baker is a true screen goddess, she gives her characters grace and dignity. She has an uplifting personality. I saw her in a recent feature about Straitjacket and she still is a beautiful and elegant lady.
I recently watched Straitjacket, on youtube no less and was very taken by her. I also saw an interview with her where she was dicussing the fact that she now works as the Director of Acting at the School of Motion Pictures and Television at Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I've seen her in the film "The Haunted", which is a TV movie, Silence of the Lambs, Marnie, and Straitjacket. Thank you for your reply sir.
I met Diane Baker years ago at a premiere in Nashville Tennessee for "Journey To The Center of The Earth," her co-stared was Pat Boone, which was his first movie kiss by Diane. They had the stars to go behind stage and that when I was able to meet her in person. She was such a nice lady and didn't make youn feel like she was better than you.
Your right she is a screen goddess and does such an outstanding job as an actress. She is ageless it seems.
I want to thank you for putting this up. This lady is so beautiful. She's so classy and elegant. Every time I see a picture of her I smile. She radiates such a glow. I saw an interview with her recently, she's 70 now, and it's one of the best examples I've seen of the the saying "beauty never ages". Good job. I'm sorry I corrected you before about Her bithdate and year.
I apologize, the information on imdb confirms this. The correction has already been effectuated. Thank you for the attention you gave to this posting.
She was in "The Invaders" episode "Beachhead" (1967) as an alien woman and she was stunning.

Diane Baker is one of America's finest actresses. Most notably during the 60s when starring in movies such as: 'Strait-Jacket', 'Marnie' and 'Della'.

A slight resemblance to Lorraine Bracco of the Sopranos?

Watched her in Marnie tonight. She was, and still is, gorgeous. She looked great in that riding outfit.
