@bigmansparrow81 they added more windmills and they make the main road up to the wind mills huge to get them up there. Ya its still open it's huge now you cant go threw oakridge without seeing loads of atvs, jeeps, crawlers. It'sa huge place to ride i live like 20 miles from it i used to live about 10 i ride on the mountain close to my house for free. I dont visit Windrock much.
Awsome video....loved everything about it..being a first season atver,I have the fever and been riding ouuta my mind....racing mx when i was younger and now riding my Polaris has given me new life.....Honkers48
It's actually a Kodiak but basically the same thing. Uhh they are 27" Gator mudd tires. I haven't found any other tire that compares. They will go through stuff that will amaze you!
they are great they wont let u get stuck in thick suopy mud or deep snow. But they r not the best for wet slick rock they have deep sipes on the tread for hard pack dirt and if the ground is damp you can drift with them so ya they a good tire
Thanks for the video. It brings back a lot of memories for us. We first rode there in Mar 03. Only a dozen trails were even mapped. Many times we were the only ones riding, even on Saturday. We used to park the rv up by the shed where you could buy permits. I guess you cant do that any more. I logged over 6000 miles on Coal Creek and the surrounding area. What an awesome place. It's gotten pretty big now, and now we ride here in WV, but it was great while it lasted.
man to tell you the truth that place was so big we stayed lost most of the time. I have seen it in other videos. I do know it was high on the mountain and it was just off of the trail and the trail was relatively flat with a lot of pools of water and streams. Sorry I'm not more of a help.
This is before they screwed it up with that wind turbine project.
