RE: Knowing the facts: I sincerely doubt that you know more than I about the exploits of your hero. I was there in Cuba during and after the revolution. I witnessed the televised executions, the mock mass trials, the incarceration of men, women and even minors whose crime was political dissent. I was there in 1958, 1959, 1960 and 1961. Where were you?

I am okay being a "visitor". WHY would I want to be CUBAN? I would have to be insane and stupid. Although my parents were born in Havana, I am very fortunate to have been born American. Freedom of speech, the opportunity to have a career and to grow spiritually is pretty cool. AND, I'm not from MIAMI! Cuba is considered a novelty. We've been condensed to a mojito and an old chevy. That makes me sad. I know Cubans are more than that. I would love nothing more than to see the embargo lifted.

Che Guevara was a very complex person and a dreamer. By that time 50's Communism wasn't what it's nowdays and the people looking for changes believed in it till the point of risking your own life for a cause. I guess Che by the end of his life regreted being a murder...and he was murderered in the same way he did it.
