Dude, i installed iATKOS S3 v2 10.6.3 Snow Leopardon on my HP Mini 110-1006TU everything seems to work except for WiFi, but i heard some people saying Upgrading to 10.6.5 will fix the wifi but breaks the mouse,trackpad, and the usb.. , what can i do to fix my wifi? its broadcom, ethernet is atheros.

@jebug29 his processor supported the vanilla kernel. the vanilla kernel is what every retail copy of mac os x has, since he has a core 2 duo, he has the option to use the vanilla kernel and easily install updates pain free.

i have the snow leopard by hazar n i was finally able to update to 10.6.5 if i do this update would i get a panic or anything that would make me reinstall and do it all over again??

updating from 10.6.5 to 10.6.6 doesnt require kext fiddling because it doesnt bring big updates, only the app store and some small things.

I have a problem with my graphic card on my acer aspire one netbook, the update was completely and the system boots with no problems, but the screen was on 800x600 and not on 1024x600, now I copy the file "patch27ae.command" into the shell an reboot, after reboot the screen was black and have much lines but the mouse was to see. What is the problem?

@saint10651223allday if you card doesn't allow you to use qe/ci try disabling any graphics kexts and removing graphics strings from boot.plist. I struggled with my card trying to find kexts or strings and I wouldn't get acceleration. but then I added the graphicsenabler string to my boot.plist and removed anything else related to graphics and I can now even play games!

@saint10651223allday yes, that's what I did after all other things failed. I have an NVS140M graphics card, which is a pain and not supported by any Kexts properly. So, I'd removed every graphics related kext and the EFI string, and I just left the GraphicsEnabler set to Yes in Boot.plist along with the native resolution values (another string, which is only required if you cannot set your resolution in the System Preferences). And that did it! Even CS:S on Steam worked quite well.

Distros are old news... nothing like installing SL from retail version disk. Its just like a real Mac and super stable.... I think its easier on Laptops then PC's.... On all the laptops I've tried SL installation they have all work, on Desktops its another story...

no update trouble because it runs on the same kernel as 10.6.5 but for any other update i suggest multibeast it works everytime when i use it to update
