Now that's due to lack of knolledge the pump is the next best thing to a cure there is no reason at this day in age that anyone should be on shots. (given they have the option of a pump.) there is also no reason anyone should use the omnipod. Minimed and animas are the best pumps on the market end of story.
I highly recommend you research the minimed revel. Talk to people who wear it. Research the animas ping. Talk to people who wear it. Then decide which is a better fit for you.

Wow this is amazing! I guess deep down inside Ive always wanted a twin who also had diabetes, call me crazy but i feel life with type 1 growing up would have been so much easier. sometimes you just need someone who shares the same struggles to give you strength and encouragement.They will be ok :-) have you guys thought about the insulin pump?
Wow they look so much alike! I loved that last picture of them praying. My twin sister and I both have Type 1 Diabetes too, even though we aren't identical. I know it's twice the work, but I think it is good for them to be able to go through this together. I know that when I was diagnosed, it was really comforting to have someone else right there going through the same thing. STAY STRONG! :)
