You must be 60 years old. Why don't you just pay your bills so i dont have to call you, and people like you? By wasting your time trying to weasle out of your bills, what kind of example are you setting for your grandchildren? You're just clogging up the court system. The FDCPA was designed to protect Americans from harrassing collections practices, not for you to abuse it for personal financial gain.
My best friend is a police officer in ny and he was telling me these stories criminals do and think they can get away and i asked him why are they soooo fucking dumb? his reply...well if they werent dumb asses then they wouldnt be criminals....point taken with debtors if they werent soooo fucking dumb they wouldnt be debtors with shit credit....my dad was smart paid his bills and i pay my bills and my friends do also because we arent DUMBASSES! LOL! FUCK OFF DEBTORS
hey buddy...pay your bills ok. old ppl really think they're excused because they're old. they open a debt in 2008...then wanna cry...i'm 79 in 2010. you were 77 just 2yrs ago. come off it. pay up! and yes we work on cmmssn basis...and also rcv a decent hrly wage. so shut your trap gramps. every collector is not hitting bonus...so stop speaking on what you don't know. it's not cute because you're old. you're an adult, was once a young adult...and obviously you've abandoned some debt.
@calmedcooledMI Your such a leech lol, how about not watch the video if you dont like it sir! And yes some people dont have any source of income, its not their fault. Look at the economy!
@calmedcooledMI obviously you are a debt collector and you should know there is a reccesion happening and some people can not pay there debts off there more important things in life like shelter , food , utilities you know the needs of life. Most people are on a fixed income and cannot pay back their debts no matter what age. So maybe you should give your head a shake and remember that you can call and harass people all you want if they dont have the money they cannot pay you.
@deadsexy33 yes i'm a DC. wasn't always. was laid off in the recession 3yrs ago and fell behind on my bills. also...i'm still paying some of them now...but guess what...it happens. and let me tell you something obviously deadsexy...you're a deadbeat too. ppl always scream...there's a recession. yet i see casinos full...clubs/bars full...movie theaters packed...new cars being driven (pimped out), the malls are packed...so get da fck outta here. pay your fckng bills.
@calmedcooledMI Hey you can call me anything you want i really dont give a crap cause obviously you are just showing how abusive debt collecters really are. I havea question though do you have to go through a training periodto be so abusive or does it come naturally to you cause of an anger management disorder. My point i am trying to get across is these people never had a contract with the debt collection agency they had a contract with the company they obtained credit with.
@deadsexy33 The debt collecters buy the debt add an inflated interest how do you think they make their money.I am a debt collecter and i DO NOT ABUSE people when i speak to them and i do collect!
@deadsexy33 no inflated interest is added. get your facts straight. if you had a 24% interest rate when you got the credit...it can continue to accrue...now late fees and overlimit fees cannot...but the interest can in some...not all states. get your facts straight and stop misleading these people with your nonsense.
@deadsexy33 Your point is understood. However, in our credit driven economy...this is how it works for instance: YOU apply for a Target credit card...to your surprise they approve you and give you a $500 credit limit....YOU pay the punkazz $15 to $20 monthly bill for about six months...then you stop paying for 3months...it then heads over to Target's collection department...they cant get a dime out of your sorry azz so they write it off... sold it to a 3rd prty cllctr...you still owe it! smh
@calmedcooledMI It looks like to me you have no idea what you are talking about.
In Law all debt can only be redeemed by remedy, that is those who claim against you must give you a way of paying debt off. I have found that way by using negotiable instruments, in the USA people are using A4V.
@whitenightf3 and it appears that you are simply another deadbeat who finds any excuse not to pay your bills...oh excuse me...you don't pay bills as you said before. i suppose you just tell your friends and fam how they can basically be thieves...go into stores...get credit...then complain about the interest that was in the fine print (that they didn't read) when they signed up. good job. thanks for all that you do for the economy. you are a disgusting huming being and a thief. sad.
@calmedcooledMI Unfortunately you have been brainwashed into believing in a inherently evil system. That is down to you, I prefer not to uphold such a system where Bankers are given obscene amounts of money created from thin air while old people are persecuted and legally robbed. If you want to look at the thief and someone that is disgusting then look in the mirror. You are responsible for all the poverty you see around you and there us nothing sadder than that, one day u will be held to it.
@whitenightf3 I see the light now. You're right. I'm going to quit my job on Monday. It's outrageous for people to pay their bills. Especially when they get old. Even if they're old, in their right minds, & still opening up credit. If they don't pay that's ok. This system is crazy. U shouldnt' have to pay for things you buy if you get them on credit. If you max out ur $5k cdt crd on clothes, entertainment & a few household items then can't pay...that's the bank's fault.
@calmedcooledMI you have no idea how crazy it is and how crazy people like yourself revere those chains they have placed in your mind. You carry on the way you are and I will walk my path along with those of us who refuse to be slaves.
@whitenightf3 You have a ssn right? your a slave. Also you borrow money and sign a contract your a slave. The only way not to is to get out of the system. Good luck buddy. The best kind of slave is one that does not know he is a slave;)
dude...put in your teeth and plug in your brain! my ??? to you is who infomred you of this viable way to get out of paying your debts? why are you putting this filth on the internet? you are one crazy guy....no teeth, no brains, no credibility.
Alleged Debts can be challenged in court if it goes that far. What did the financial institution loan you?? Nothing! Credit maybe. What can you pay the alleged debt with? Money? Whats money? Fiat money is backed by nothing and isnt worth the paper its printed on. Do some research.
Debt collectors buy the debt- they pay for it. Once the debt is paid, its gone! So you've no contract with debt collector so you can legally ignore them!
I AGREE WITH MR. SICK MOTHERFUCKER. WHO ARE YOU AFFILIATED WITH? DO YOU HAVE AN OFFICE LOCATION? DO YOU BELONG TO THE BBB? iM NOT TRYING TO GET OUT OF MY OBLIGATIONS, I JUST NEED HELP ON REPAYING MY DEBTS...I DO OWE THE GOOD DOCTOR HE DID HELP ME OUT IN A TIME OF NEED....YOUR SERVICE SOUNDS TO FISHY TO ME?? DOES ANY ONE KNOW ABOUT CONSUMER CREDIT COUNSELING, I HEARD ITS FREE, AND THEY DO HELP US PAY BACK OUR DEBTS, IM RESPONSIBLE JUST GOT BEHIND. THANKS
If you feel you owe the debt and want to pay it and have the ability to pay it then do so.
I have no problem with that. Paying what you owe is the honorable thing to do. Just be sure you get a receipt in return for your money. If you are unable to pay then that might be a different matter.
people just dont know how to handle little bill collectors. I like to hold the phone to my asshole and fart right in to the bill collectors ear! then I communicate his ear was on my asshole! I also describe in detail my shit, the color, texture, smell. They love that. If its a lady I ask about her vagina and will jerk off over the phone! Have fun with these pricks! They get worked up easily!
creditwrench...try being a debt collector for a week and see how it really works...just cause you're 100 years old doesnt make you smarter...if someone owed you money, how would you collect it?
I must admit that I may be greener than a gourd and dumber than a fence post but If someone owed me money I would simply file a lawsuit against them. But as a debt collector that isn't your problem. Your problem is getting the $ without having to send it to a lawyer & knowing how to collect from consumers without breaking the law. If you can do that you very well just might be smarter than a 5th grader, able to dodge speeding bullets and leap tall buildings in a single bound.LOL
@creditwrench SIR NOT TO BE RUDE, BUT DO YOU HAVE COLLEGE DEGREES OR CERTIFICATES TO BACK UP YOUR EXPERTISE AND DO YOU HAVE A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL LIKE OTHER BUSINESSES TO DISCUSS YOUR HELP. THANK YOU
@yourturbinisdirty1 College degrees? Yes, I have a couple of them. Certificates? Yes, I have those too, but those don't mean much more than belonging to the BBB. If you want to know how much that's worth do a search for any of the 3 major credit bureaus. Results? No unresolved complaints.(LOL) Phone #? (405) 237-2174 & (405) 227-9423 & many more. References? 173 students who won in federal court against debt collectors. Lots of local court wins too. Over 100 homes saved frm foreclosure.
@creditwrench SOUNDS GOOD....DO YOU HAVE THE REFERENCES ON YOUR WEBSITES AND CAN WE CALL AND CHOOSE FROM ANY OF THE 173 STUDENTS TO VERIFY , THANK YOU. ALSO CAN YOU SHOW EXAMPLES HOW THEY WON?
I have audio recordings of some of my students talking about their wins on my Friday evening conference calls. Most of the settlements have non-disclosure clauses in effect so can't talk about those without upsetting their deals. Most of them are on Pacer however and are available as public records. None of them have ever gone to actual trial. Always settled out of court as a result of private agreement between the parties. Nobody really wants to actually go 2 trial so they settle out of court.
I paid all my debt off, and i'll never ever get another credit card or anything. if I want something, then I'll do as my parents and grandparents did - save for it
I don't care if you think you're being harassed or are getting threatened that's what you get for being a fucking debt beat and for trying to sink our country more than it already is. So if you're a debt beat go fuck yourself you piece of shit and grow some balls and take care of your responsibilities and quit your fucking whining. I hate fucking opportunists that think they can fuck other people over without consequences.
Bill collectors should be able to tell these stupid opportunists to go fuck themselves and should be able to garnish their wages 100% of the time if they don't pay back. I just don't understand how you could go and fuck someone over for some cash and not only not pay it back but also ask for more by being a fucking son of a bitch and sue for more because a bill collector is calling you demanding that you pay your debt. Does this really make any sense to anyone???
Yeah yeah yeah. Old as stupid fuck can't even read yet he's talking shit. He's also a fucking debt beat himself probably. like badpanda84 says, I don't think these debt beats should be able to get away with taking money that was lent to them in good faith and now they're being opportunist and trying to find ways to not accertain their responsibilities. There should be a law that all debt beats should go to jail if they didn't pay rather than give them the right to sue a bill collector
The other side of the story is that there are alot of debtor who just have no intention of paying. You think people should be allow to get away with not paying just because they tell the debt collector to fuck off
@badpanda84 - Excellent point - How about paying your fucking bills and stop being such a scumbag - I pay my bills, why shouldn't everyone else? You cant afford credit, don't get it
credit counseling is free and are professional company with offices nationwide. end of story. ccc really helps people get out of debt avoid further problems and teaches you how to establish better credit and they are a NON PROFIT YES NON PROFIT company! NON PROFIT. And belong to the BBB yes the BBB and have people answering their PHONES and have OFFICES yes OFFICES to sit down in and discuss your situation. REAL PEOPLE REAL BUSINESS REAL ANSWERS.
I just happen to be a debt collector myself. While I certainly don't agree with what is in th video, I don't agree with your comments either. We sue people all the time who have relied on credit counseling to get them out of trouble and when we sue all their good intentions went down the drain. Free or not, CC services can't help people when they get sued. In fact, if we find out a debtor is using a CC outfit we will sue them much faster because we aren't getting that money. BBB? Yes, a ripoff
Yes, we belong to BBB, Chamber of Commerce, Toastmasters and many more organizations but most just take your money but give little or nothing in return. Sure makes you look good in the eyes of those who don't know any better. We have to keep up appearances but the truth is that we are in business to make money and that is all. The organizations we belong to give us contact with both old and potential new customers and that is why we join all of them we can. Its all about the money.
Do you know WHY he is/was in debt? It could have been medical, or maybe they extended him more credit than he could handle, which would mean they bear some responsibility too. Many banks want to get you as endebted as they can, so they can raise the rates and suddenly you can't pay it off, even though it HAD been under control. They bring it on themselves.
I won't pay back the money I owe, so I'll try to trick them into breaking the law so I can sue them in federal court. You know you're a lowlife, right?
I'm the lowlife? Maybe so, but if I am a lowlife how about the person who abuses my rights on a wholesale basis, time and time again, violating federal and state laws in the process? And then when that don't get them their way they go crying to another lowlife (an attorney) whose sworn duty it is to uphold the law. My rights are the most precious and valuable things I have. Who can put a price on those rights except the soldier who paid the ultimate price in the service of his country?
I've heard a lot of patriot nutjob theories in my time but that one takes the grand prize. The constitution protects the citizen from illegal action by government. The men and women in uniform have never paid the debts of anyone except themselves. I almost died laughing at your crazy idea myself.
@creditwrench dude seriously you whine like a girl. cry about your rights we all have rights but seriously worry about making money and getting a girl in life than just barely getting by in life off lil paydays of suing people. you really need to quit sounding like a girl and just become a mans man and maybe just maybe a nice tender women would come into your life and make it more pleasurable instead of being caught up over bill collectors.
What are you selling? Memberships to online dating clubs? Or are you really into e-whoring? That sounds more like it. Tricking sick dudes on Craigslist into thinking they can get a look at your boobs. That sounds more like your speed.
He isn't caught up over bill collectors. They make him more money than you'd ever imagine. Go peddle your boobs elsewhere.
Seriously if he made any money in it...he would have a genuine business address...belong to the bbb as well his local chamber of commerce and have people answering his phones. Looks like he works out of his basement. As well one thing he doesnt say is agencies are just sueing more people out of the gate once they locate their employment. Their not even calling as much any more, its a waste of time and not as prfitable than just garnishing. Best advice just be responsible and pay your bills.
How would you know from a video whether he has a genuine business address or not? You think he should belong to the BBB? Costs $400 last time I heard and that $400 guarantees that BBB will never say anything bad about your business no matter what you do or don't do, Not true? Then do a BBB check on all the credit bureaus out there. They have a great listing. No problems not resolved yet they get sued every day. Nothing but a ripoff. Out of his basement? That window ain't underground. Get real!
@Cap1sucks so now your saying the BBB is a joke?! dude you must be credit wrench your hours of reply are exaclty the same and anyone that says the BBB is bad is a joke. Who does business with anyone that doesnt belong to the BBB? Seriously like judge Judy said...when people lie they dont make since! except she screams it! Consumer Credit Counseling must be a joke then since they belong to the BBB with an A rating and are NON Profit and FREE, Wiith office NationWide. your a joke dude.
Nope! No basement here. People answering my phones? There aren't any people available who are qualified to answer my phones. Agencies suing people out of the gate? That's great! Just gets them sued in federal court quicker. Even if they haven't broken any laws, their lawyer will & that gets them named as co-defendants because they hired the lawyer. Best advice if you are a debt collector & run into a creditwrench student is run like hell because you will get sued in federal court if you don't.
lame excuse...you cant find qualified enough people? what kind of business man are you? IBM, Delta airlines, Papa Johns Pizza, what they dont have people answer phones?! Bottomlline is you make money off of debtors just like agencies do except you barely make enough cuz you dont have a real business model. What associations do you belong to? what you do is tell half truths to the debtors and not tell them they could be countered sued or plain out sued. they would be better off with CCC.
ANd if your a debtor if you dont want to deal with an agency your better off calling a phone number where someone answers the phone call your local CONSUMER CREDIT COUNSELOR... just google it counsumer credit counseling. its real people that really help you from debt collectors they work with the agecnies...one last thing what wrennch isnt telling you there is a law call ed Bone FIde Error agencies use them all the time..so they can win their cases and then garnish you. this guy is a quack!
Money is a gurantee of evil! Thanks for this. i am only 21 years old. and made mistakes to get myself into debt. and have bad credit. i want a future, not a day to day life. thanks abunch kind sir! im deffinately going to favorite this, share this, and as well. research this :)
I was injured in an accident that caused me to lose my job. Debtors don't care that you've had a perfect record. They want their money and they'll use any shady tactic to get it. I learned how to use the FDCPA a longtime ago. I have a standard letter that I mail them (certified) and it hasn't failed me yet. It stops them in their tracks and they can't mess with my credit rating either.
Glad it has worked for you, but what is important is the fact that you stood up and fought and that is the most important message of all. Those who stand up and fight can win. Those who don't always lose. Thanks for your comments
Can't see the link with banks loaning money they do not have? who do you think owns fininace companies and credit card compnaies. We are just the last maggots in the food chain. But we are also the essential maggots! Remember the whale feeds on crill. Money is debt see the video and think about it
You know? If your going to buy something or take out a loan for whatever reason, be prepared to pay it back and have back up plans on how your going to pay it back....and read the aggreement on things before you sign for them. But really..if you dont have the cash to buy something, dont get it. You'll avoid situations like this.
That's great advice indeed. Too bad it becomes impossible to follow for someone who lost his/her job and can't find anther. Before you spout off your mouth next time stop to think of GM, AIG, Morgan Stanley and the 81 banks who couldn't follow your great advice. While you are in the mood to give such great advice why not get a great job advising Obama and the government. They can't ever pay off all the money they have borrowed from other nations. If they won't listen then go get a life.
I know about that and I have rermoved some malicious code put there by some damned hacker trying to stick a fork in me. Probably some debt collector one or more of my students has sued in federal court. Debt collectors will stop at nothing to keep their grip on their victims. I'm not collecting any information from any body by illicit means. . If anybody knows how to find and get rid of the code that is causing that problem I sure would appreciate them telling me how to do it.
Trust oes both ways. There is a great big fraud being committed on our whole society every day by the use of fractional reserve banking- don't pay them it only encourages them.!
You said, "your right debt collectors wont call instead they file lawsuits and then you end up paying the bill your court costs and theres."
That's not the way it works for my students. They learn how to make the debt collector pay the debt and all the costs plus the damages they suffered as a result of the debt collector's failure to obey the law. They quickly learn that two wrongs can indeed. make a right. I wish one would sue me so I could force them to make a donation to my fav charity.
easiest way to avoid debt collectors pay your bills simple as that old man river here is a seasoned vet of not paying his bills your right debt collectors wont call instead they file lawsuits and then you end up paying the bill your court costs and theres. People like this are why our economy is so bad he abuses the trust companies put in him to provide a service on the grounds that he gives them his wrod he will pay this guy is just pathetic. just pay your bills easy as that.
You need a certified invoice that proves you owe that money. (Not a statement) *They like to do this.* Use the notary republic and send via certified mail on all of your contracts and documents you send them. Do NOTHING over phone and EVERYTHING in writing. What people don't understand is by someones silence to act upon a notice, they are in an agreement should they fail to disagree within the amount of time listed in the notice you send them.
It's a well known fact that debt collection agencies act illegally outside of our rights and contracts with the banks. Yes, our contracts are with the banks, not the collection agencies. You can't transfer a signed contact to a third party. All you have to do is conditionally accept their offer to pay upon proof of a valid invoice. Guess what, their not gonna find that paper work or forge some other kind crap documents to send you to make it look that way.
What is even funnier is that it is the debt collecting attorneys who teach debtors how to do it. The attorneys all do it the same way with almost no variations. Once you have been through the mill you always know what the lawyer will do goose step by goose step. It is nothing more than monkey see monkey do. So yes, staying one or more jumps ahead of the little monkeys isn't hard at all. You gotta do what you gotta do. Learn or die trying. I know how to win and I know how to teach others to win
then if the attorneys are the ones who have created this "monster". why are so many people so quick to run and get one just because a debt collector has called their house a few times. it's not like the debtor doesn't owe it. debtors have to realize that this isn't customer service. it's a tough job and somebody has to do it. i'm a bill collector and like i end every call good or bad "good luck to you".
People run to attorneys because it is almost universally believed that lawyers have all the answers. They run to bankruptcy because they believe that it is the only way to get out of debt. Neither is true. Bankruptcy is the worst possible way to get out of debt. Lawyers are the only answer to some problems if you can find one qualified to take the case. That isn't always easy. Debt collectors aren't the right answer for creditors whose lax credit granting policies cause the problems either.
It's easy to say 'or you could pay your damn bills', but not if you don't know the person who's got the problem. A lot of factors are played into what happens.
I know someone who's got a 99 percent interest rate so they're fucked no matter if they pay bills or not.
hahaha. your website is a total joke!! No wonder you have so much debt ("you don't pay debt collectors, they pay you") as you obviously can't make a living with that website.
Obviously you haven't got a clue. I've never sued a single debt collector in my entire life. I don't make money filing lawsuits against anybody. I make money teaching others how to make money filing lawsuits. The 170th lawsuit filed by one of my students brought in $80,000. It was his 3rd lawsuit and he won all three. So the yoke is on you, Mr. Yegg.
this guy is retarded. even if you straight up tell the debt collector you arent going to pay they are still going to call you. i am a debt collector. we arent going to just stop calling you. if we do it probably means we are about to sue your ass. pay your damn bills
tEven if you tell the debt collector you arent going to pay they are still going to call you.
Any debt collector who calls after having been told that someone refuses to pay is simply begging to tell a federal judge why they did that. i am a debt collector. we arent going to just stop calling you. if we do it probably means we are about to sue your ass.
I beg debt collectors to sue me but they won't do it. Can't say I blame them. Sue me and see what happens. You get no money, I get yours.
You're videos are total crap, and you come off sounding like a crotchety old man with an axe to grind.
The FDCPA requires you to send in WRITTEN form to not be contacted about a debt you allegedly owe. When you use the word "TELLING" it is vague, as is not accurate to speak to them to stop calling.
Get it straight and pay your bill. Thanks for doing your part in keeping our country in debt.
Not sure what this guy is reading but he's way off. How about just making terms to pay your debt instead of weasly loophole hunting that will only make things worse
As usual, those who think they are better than the next guy always gets proven wrong. Bersheeva might be one of the few good ones but if he can't get it collected they will put somebody else on the account sooner or later who will screw it up. He should stop and think that lawyers are debt collectors too and if he don't screw it up some lawyer will. Consumers who learn to fight win. Those who don't lose as always. I teach people how to win. He teaches people how to lose.
first of all this guy on the video has absolutely no idea what he is talking about thats first things first i am a debt collector second of all at the end of the day there are 2 types of debt collector a professional collector who is good at his job and the scummy type who makes money but by scaring stupid americans into beleiving he is goign to take there house or some crap like that i hear it all the time at work all day long now bottom line a good collector doesnt let himself get baited fact
Yes, they got people to use their cards but whether they are stupid or not is debatable. Consumers opened up new lines of credit and used it up like a kid in a candy store. Banks let them do it out of greed because they thought the bubble would never burst. . Both were in self denial unwilling to face the fact that the economy not only would crash but that it was inevitable. So who is stupid? Stupid is as stupid does. That's the bottom line.
That's easy Pal. Child's play. Why not really accomplish something worthwhile like making them ask you ow much it is going to cost them to get you to go away and leave them alone? Getting that done is at least a little more challenging. I figured out how to do that years ago too. I don't pay debt collectors, they pay me
Unfortunatly your "lists" of what to do when they call does not take care of YOUR DEBT that YOU created...It all comes down to americans signing that contract and having no idea what the consequences really are. Doesnt seem like that good of an idea using that card at McDonalds over and over again now does it??!!??
I am so tired of hearing people talk about banks shoving CC offers down their throats. When it comes down to it. YOU put your signature on the contract. YOU didn't read the terms and conditions. YOU are an ignorant jackass.
There is a growing debate here about those who accept the terms of credit card contracts in the way you accept responsibility.
HOWEVER, credit card contracts are unlike any other since the terms can be modified by the bank for no reason and things such as "Universal Default" is a good example of credit card banks behaving greedily.
In any other agreement when a party modifies the contract the entire agreement is considered breached and most often non biding for all parties BUT NOT FOR CCards.
Very nice of you to share your good life with us. But what about the unfair charges that credit companys apply if you miss a payment then up the rate of interest until things spiral out of control more charges more interest more charges more interest. Unfortunately life can throw unexpected changes like redundancy, other companys not paying you or as most people are feeling now an economic downturn. I don't feel people are stupid with their finances, sometimes everthing is just against you.
I agree with most people....stop being dead beats and pay your bills....like you shouldnt spend money you don't have....thats only common sense. Don't live over your means and if you need more money get a better job, go to post secondary like I did I work for the Department of National Defence in Ottawa and it's thanks to my education. Now I know some are saying well not everyone can afford school, what I did was save everything I didnt borrow anything for school so I have NO debt :)
I don't think you people know what you are talking about. I spent my entire adult life in retail and commercial collection work. The real abuser I saw is the Credit card companies, banks, stores and others that literally shove debt down your throat then call you a deadbeat if you run into problems repaying those debts. Lets face it *hit happens and if you are having problems you need help not abuse. The fact is that credit cards are the most profitable commodity in the world today.
some of us are being attacked by "creditors" even though it's not our fault. Example: I bought a phone on the internet via paypal. I found out they were a scammer; and after reasonable time for them to send my phone, I told them I was going to file a claim. Paypal said I was entitled to a refund, but that the scammer took his money out already. I did a chargeback, and got my money back. Unfortunately, paypal sent me to collections instead of the scammer. Not my fault.
That should be a lesson to everyone. Don't deal with Paypal. There are better options out there than paypal If you have a paypal account take your money out and close the account and dump paypal like a hot potato. If you don't you run the risk of getting shafted and that's a risk not worth taking.
Im a debt collector and a human being just like you. I make less thank 30k a year That said, when I call you to collect on your debt, and you trick me into violating the FDCPA to sue my company, MY COMPANY WILL PLACE THE VIOLATION ENTIRELY ON MY SHOULDERS, THEY WILL NOT BACK ME IN COURT AND MAKE ME RESPONSIBLE FOR LAW SUIT WHICH IS TYPICALLY MORE THAN I MAKE IN A YEAR. YOU ARE ONLY HURTING ANOTHER WORKING CLASS PERSON TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING. KNOCK IT OFF, PAY YOUR DEBTS OR DONT SPEND THE MONEY.
Heres an idea~ don't use money that you don't have. pay your bills. You hurt other people and businesses when you use money and do not pay! That is pretty much stealing....
i think once ur taken to court on these issues u really see it a different way especially here in nh..the judge eats vets, ssi n anybody for dinner..and after he'll say amateur nite. i payed a traffic ticket in 2 sec once i saw collection court in action they don't play. u think a phone call or letter is bad? here they throw u in jail
Old man, I thought your generation of Americans actually had pride and some sense of righteousness. Nowadays Americans are looking for hand outs and lawsuits rather than owning up to their own responsibilities/obligations. Sad to see such a great country turn sour with such weak moral character. Try cleaning up after yourself, that stockpile of shit with the bedsheet/curtain is says it all.
Not quite Mr. Wolf. Americans today are so accustomed to having their rights violated that they pay no real attention to it. They routinely take abuse of all kinds without too much complaint. they have no sense of righteousness these days as you have stated but they do own up to their responsibilities and obligations. They are not the scumbags you would make them out to be. Yes, it is sad to see such a great country so used to being abused that they accept it without protest.
You do have a point however the other side of the coin is also valid and the other side of the coin is that if debt collectors would obey the law debtors would have no reason to complain. Debtors have rights just as creditors do and those rights must be obeyed as well. Debt collectors who fail to obey the law simply must be forced to pay just as debtors are expected to pay. Nobody is above the law and that includes both debtors and debt collectors.
I don't fool around with them. I take them to federal court and make them pay me. Anybody can do it. I have yet to see the inside of a federal courtroom Its all done by mail and on the internet. No need to see the judge at all.
The money they lose is federally insured they get it back just like if there is a bank robbery!!! They want your money too, which really isn't yours to begin with!!!
it's not CREDIT collectors, it's DEBT collections you freeloading jerks need to learn about the interest rates and what contract you sign before the card is out on loan, not only that you have to understand... YOU ARE COWARDS PAY YOUR BILL ON TIME, IT WOULDN'T HAPPEN!
You obviously dont understand that money is debt and that debt is money, for every time you get credit, it is in fact made from debt. so when you talk about credits and debts, then think of credit being debt, specially since money is made from debt and credit is made out of thin air to which there is no money to pay interests that go with debts borrowed from a bank.. need i say more?

By wasting your time trying to weasle out of your bills, what kind of example are you setting for your grandchildren? You're just clogging up the court system. The FDCPA was designed to protect Americans from harrassing collections practices, not for you to abuse it for personal financial gain.

@calmedcooledMI Hey you can call me anything you want i really dont give a crap cause obviously you are just showing how abusive debt collecters really are. I havea question though do you have to go through a training periodto be so abusive or does it come naturally to you cause of an anger management disorder. My point i am trying to get across is these people never had a contract with the debt collection agency they had a contract with the company they obtained credit with.
deadsexy33 1 year ago
@deadsexy33 The debt collecters buy the debt add an inflated interest how do you think they make their money.I am a debt collecter and i DO NOT ABUSE people when i speak to them and i do collect!
deadsexy33 1 year ago
@deadsexy33 no inflated interest is added. get your facts straight. if you had a 24% interest rate when you got the credit...it can continue to accrue...now late fees and overlimit fees cannot...but the interest can in some...not all states. get your facts straight and stop misleading these people with your nonsense.
calmedcooledMI 1 year ago
@deadsexy33 Your point is understood. However, in our credit driven economy...this is how it works for instance: YOU apply for a Target credit card...to your surprise they approve you and give you a $500 credit limit....YOU pay the punkazz $15 to $20 monthly bill for about six months...then you stop paying for 3months...it then heads over to Target's collection department...they cant get a dime out of your sorry azz so they write it off... sold it to a 3rd prty cllctr...you still owe it! smh

whitenightf3 1 year ago
@whitenightf3 and it appears that you are simply another deadbeat who finds any excuse not to pay your bills...oh excuse me...you don't pay bills as you said before. i suppose you just tell your friends and fam how they can basically be thieves...go into stores...get credit...then complain about the interest that was in the fine print (that they didn't read) when they signed up. good job. thanks for all that you do for the economy. you are a disgusting huming being and a thief. sad.

Does this really make any sense to anyone???
pinguino1337 1 year ago

There should be a law that all debt beats should go to jail if they didn't pay rather than give them the right to sue a bill collector
pinguino1337 1 year ago

Free or not, CC services can't help people when they get sued. In fact, if we find out a debtor is using a CC outfit we will sue them much faster because we aren't getting that money. BBB? Yes, we belong to BBB, Chamber of Commerce, Toastmasters and many more organizations but most just take your money but give little or nothing in return. The organizations we belong to give us contact with both old and potential new customers and that is why we join all of them we can. Its all about the money.

To anyone calling this guy a loser:
Do you know WHY he is/was in debt? It could have been medical, or maybe they extended him more credit than he could handle, which would mean they bear some responsibility too. Many banks want to get you as endebted as they can, so they can raise the rates and suddenly you can't pay it off, even though it HAD been under control. They bring it on themselves.
DominicMetal1979 2 years ago
I won't pay back the money I owe, so I'll try to trick them into breaking the law so I can sue them in federal court. You know you're a lowlife, right?

Seriously if he made any money in it...he would have a genuine business address...belong to the bbb as well his local chamber of commerce and have people answering his phones. Looks like he works out of his basement. As well one thing he doesnt say is agencies are just sueing more people out of the gate once they locate their employment. Their not even calling as much any more, its a waste of time and not as prfitable than just garnishing. Best advice just be responsible and pay your bills.
MrSICKMOTHERFUCKER 2 years ago
How would you know from a video whether he has a genuine business address or not? You think he should belong to the BBB? Then do a BBB check on all the credit bureaus out there. They have a great listing. No problems not resolved yet they get sued every day. Nothing but a ripoff. Out of his basement? That window ain't underground. Get real!

MrSICKMOTHERFUCKER 2 years ago

You need a certified invoice that proves you owe that money. (Not a statement) *They like to do this.* Use the notary republic and send via certified mail on all of your contracts and documents you send them. Do NOTHING over phone and EVERYTHING in writing. What people don't understand is by someones silence to act upon a notice, they are in an agreement should they fail to disagree within the amount of time listed in the notice you send them.
andybelleba 2 years ago
It's a well known fact that debt collection agencies act illegally outside of our rights and contracts with the banks. Yes, our contracts are with the banks, not the collection agencies. You can't transfer a signed contact to a third party. All you have to do is conditionally accept their offer to pay upon proof of a valid invoice. Guess what, their not gonna find that paper work or forge some other kind crap documents to send you to make it look that way.
andybelleba 2 years ago
it's funny how debtors become attorneys overnight
soulkryziz 2 years ago
What is even funnier is that it is the debt collecting attorneys who teach debtors how to do it. The attorneys all do it the same way with almost no variations. Once you have been through the mill you always know what the lawyer will do goose step by goose step. It is nothing more than monkey see monkey do. So yes, staying one or more jumps ahead of the little monkeys isn't hard at all. You gotta do what you gotta do. Learn or die trying. I know how to win and I know how to teach others to win
creditwrench 2 years ago
then if the attorneys are the ones who have created this "monster". why are so many people so quick to run and get one just because a debt collector has called their house a few times. it's not like the debtor doesn't owe it. debtors have to realize that this isn't customer service. it's a tough job and somebody has to do it. i'm a bill collector and like i end every call good or bad "good luck to you".
soulkryziz 2 years ago
People run to attorneys because it is almost universally believed that lawyers have all the answers. They run to bankruptcy because they believe that it is the only way to get out of debt. Neither is true. Bankruptcy is the worst possible way to get out of debt. Lawyers are the only answer to some problems if you can find one qualified to take the case. That isn't always easy. Debt collectors aren't the right answer for creditors whose lax credit granting policies cause the problems either.

hahaha. your website is a total joke!! No wonder you have so much debt ("you don't pay debt collectors, they pay you") as you obviously can't make a living with that website.
kjeldorian00 2 years ago
Obviously you haven't got a clue. I've never sued a single debt collector in my entire life. I don't make money filing lawsuits against anybody. I make money teaching others how to make money filing lawsuits. The 170th lawsuit filed by one of my students brought in $80,000. It was his 3rd lawsuit and he won all three. So the yoke is on you, Mr. Yegg.

this guy is retarded. even if you straight up tell the debt collector you arent going to pay they are still going to call you. i am a debt collector. we arent going to just stop calling you. if we do it probably means we are about to sue your ass. pay your damn bills
bren118 2 years ago
tEven if you tell the debt collector you arent going to pay they are still going to call you.

He teaches people how to lose.
creditwrench 2 years ago
first of all this guy on the video has absolutely no idea what he is talking about thats first things first i am a debt collector second of all at the end of the day there are 2 types of debt collector a professional collector who is good at his job and the scummy type who makes money but by scaring stupid americans into beleiving he is goign to take there house or some crap like that i hear it all the time at work all day long now bottom line a good collector doesnt let himself get baited fact
bersheeva 2 years ago
Yes, they got people to use their cards but whether they are stupid or not is debatable. Consumers opened up new lines of credit and used it up like a kid in a candy store. Banks let them do it out of greed because they thought the bubble would never burst. . Both were in self denial unwilling to face the fact that the economy not only would crash but that it was inevitable. So who is stupid? Stupid is as stupid does. That's the bottom line.

Debt collectors do NOT always use a script when "...they call you on the phone." Sorry boss.
Quit making a youtube video on how to deal with debt collectors, and figure out how YOU'RE going to stop them from calling you every day.
volcanicsex 3 years ago
That's easy Pal. Child's play. Why not really accomplish something worthwhile like making them ask you ow much it is going to cost them to get you to go away and leave them alone? Getting that done is at least a little more challenging. I figured out how to do that years ago too. I don't pay debt collectors, they pay me
creditwrench 3 years ago
Ahhhhhh. So credit is a gameee..
Now I understand your logic better.
I would go into some long spiel about how morally unbalanced that logic is, but it wouldn't do a whole lot for someone like yourself.
Creditors aren't stupid. They got you to use their card...didn't they?
volcanicsex 3 years ago
Unfortunatly your "lists" of what to do when they call does not take care of YOUR DEBT that YOU created...It all comes down to americans signing that contract and having no idea what the consequences really are. Doesnt seem like that good of an idea using that card at McDonalds over and over again now does it??!!??
01MSPINK09 3 years ago
damn skippy!! :)
I am so tired of hearing people talk about banks shoving CC offers down their throats. When it comes down to it. YOU put your signature on the contract. YOU didn't read the terms and conditions. YOU are an ignorant jackass.
(not you 01MSPINK09)
volcanicsex 3 years ago

I don't feel people are stupid with their finances, sometimes everthing is just against you.
dandaps 3 years ago 2
here's an interesting thought.
if you don't want a company bothering you about debt then don't be stupid with your finances.
stop using your credit cards and quit buying things you can't afford.

I agree with most people....stop being dead beats and pay your bills....like you shouldnt spend money you don't have....thats only common sense. Don't live over your means and if you need more money get a better job, go to post secondary like I did I work for the Department of National Defence in Ottawa and it's thanks to my education. Now I know some are saying well not everyone can afford school, what I did was save everything I didnt borrow anything for school so I have NO debt :)
mcrmay1107 3 years ago
I don't think you people know what you are talking about. I spent my entire adult life in retail and commercial collection work. The real abuser I saw is the Credit card companies, banks, stores and others that literally shove debt down your throat then call you a deadbeat if you run into problems repaying those debts. Lets face it *hit happens and if you are having problems you need help not abuse. The fact is that credit cards are the most profitable commodity in the world today.
Jim275 3 years ago 3
some of us are being attacked by "creditors" even though it's not our fault. Not my fault.
youarepwned 3 years ago 2

TheNat20s 3 years ago
You have nothing to complain about. All you have to do is learn the law and obey it just like you expect everyone else to do.

Heres an idea~ don't use money that you don't have. pay your bills. You hurt other people and businesses when you use money and do not pay! That is pretty much stealing....

Old man, I thought your generation of Americans actually had pride and some sense of righteousness. Nowadays Americans are looking for hand outs and lawsuits rather than owning up to their own responsibilities/obligations. Sad to see such a great country turn sour with such weak moral character. Try cleaning up after yourself, that stockpile of shit with the bedsheet/curtain is says it all.
thawhitewolf 3 years ago
Not quite Mr. Wolf. Americans today are so accustomed to having their rights violated that they pay no real attention to it. They routinely take abuse of all kinds without too much complaint. they have no sense of righteousness these days as you have stated but they do own up to their responsibilities and obligations. They are not the scumbags you would make them out to be. Yes, it is sad to see such a great country so used to being abused that they accept it without protest.

How about paying back your bills dumbasses...not any better than thieves stealing money.
dryanmorr 3 years ago
You do have a point however the other side of the coin is also valid and the other side of the coin is that if debt collectors would obey the law debtors would have no reason to complain. Debtors have rights just as creditors do and those rights must be obeyed as well. Debt collectors who fail to obey the law simply must be forced to pay just as debtors are expected to pay. Nobody is above the law and that includes both debtors and debt collectors.

The money they lose is federally insured they get it back just like if there is a bank robbery!!! They want your money too, which really isn't yours to begin with!!!
alexanderthewraith 3 years ago 2
it's not CREDIT collectors, it's DEBT collections you freeloading jerks need to learn about the interest rates and what contract you sign before the card is out on loan, not only that you have to understand... YOU ARE COWARDS PAY YOUR BILL ON TIME, IT WOULDN'T HAPPEN!
myleszg 3 years ago
You obviously dont understand that money is debt and that debt is money, for every time you get credit, it is in fact made from debt. so when you talk about credits and debts, then think of credit being debt, specially since money is made from debt and credit is made out of thin air to which there is no money to pay interests that go with debts borrowed from a bank.. need i say more?
