looks like fun enough but on flipside looks a bit wreckless and mingling in with slower boats of random size and performances I can easilly see people getting hurt... you can hear them justifying thier wreckless speeds calling it the future... Its a grand idea that maybe needs regulation dont get me wrong but in a way its like saying drunken driving on a busy freeway is the future imo

@sebestans thats why I believe the others are so upset and "the police stops you "....*they can actually SEE an accident just waiting to happen* look at 2:34 just one hand off the controls for a moment and he swerves... one time some joker is gonna swerve into some young kid on a kayak and take him out.... what kind of "future" will there be then?

beautiful concept, but why not add stability with a tri foil design

cat config with quad cross-braced airfoils (rigid) ? Stability, hi speed, efficiency and ease of control

i was there when they make this video and the wind wasn't too strong, only about 10 or 12 knots but when the boat start to run it has a lot of apparent wind and flies really soon

There's one of these near me, down at Black Rock Yacht Club in Melbourne (where it was developed). I've seen it out there a couple of times but not yet in any really strong winds. This seems to be the production version.

Very hard to sail apparently (surprise, surprise!).
