Thanks, I have a job interview about programming with FIX and new nothing about it. I feel much more confident for the interview now. Thanks again for your great videos !!!!!!
A fill is when an order has been either partially or fully executed. For example, you place an order to buy 500 shares of XYZ. If your order is a limit order, you may get a partial fill. For example, someone agrees to sell you 200 shares at your limit price and then nothing, as could happen if the price keeps going up. This means you have a partial fill of 200 out of 500 shares. When you place your order, you could specify "all or nothing", meaning no partial fills.
Hey Khader great job on the videos, any chance you can explain what a fill is? I dont understand this. So you put in an order of shares but what are these fills that come back? And when do they turn into trades? I need tobe able to visualize it to see what it is. Would e great if you could please, thanks.
Watched all 4 of your videos - very useful & thorough for a novice viewer. Thank you for sharing knowledge & putting it all together.

Its a very useful session. It would be better if you could post some classifications- advantages of using different FIX versions. (4.0 - 5.0 SP2)
