@yujuyeye not. maybe a lil faster stock but its much cheaper and easier to make the trailblazer faster. the srt8 is $10k more in price used. the extra $10k can put the trailblazer in the 11s! the gc is nice but not practical for me. sits to low. can you picture a gcsrt8 goin thru 6" of mud on a job site? the front bumper would be a plow. i like the gc but the trailblazer has a LS2 need i say more?

@AftComet corners great actually! it has a lowered tuned supension with 20" rims and goodyear rsa tires and its all wheel drive.this truck is no slouch in any department! trucks were designed for towing and work but thats not the case anymore. i dont do no high speed racing but i will run it.this truck has no problem getiing to and runnin 130mph for a distance and you dont even realize your goin that fast! were do you live? i will take you for a ride to change your mind if your close

Are chevy reliable cars despite their gas? I'm looking to buy and 07 trailblazer, but one concern I have is minor rust on the engine, is this normal for a 3.5 year old SUV?

@sparkledust7788 Slight rust is normal on a 3 to 5 year old car, however, if there is deep rust and we are talking an 8th of an inch down into the block you should get it looked at.

I don't know about you guys but damn my gmc envoy wastes a lot of gas maybe 13 city the most and 18 hyway even though its a V6inline 4.2L, what should i do to improve my gas mileage besides getting a new car lol. i was thinking maybe get a tahoe its bigger and better looking with a V8 and same MPG

I have that same engine and im getting 20-25. so other than doing fuel system flushing and routine maintanence, i dont know what to tell you. Something might be wrong w/ ur engine.

i think i found the problem i had the original air filter and changed the spark plugs top of the line changed it to a full synth mobile 1 oil and there i now get great gas milages.

@RTree613 To me it's just not quick out of the hole,like the Tb ss. The srt8 is fast no doubt, But off the line and handeling i found to be a little poor,Plus the Trailblazer is better looking in style. Just my 2 cents....

dude that trailblazers interior is the base one mine has leather, suede, sunroof and navigation. and with these options its still cheaper than the srt8 not to mention the ride is not as harsh so please dont shit on the SS

While that is the official EPA numbers personally with an '07 TBSS AWD I get 16-18 highway and 15 city. When you buy a vehicle like this you don't buy it for gas mileage.

I have a 07 TBSS, Lovin it! I've owned everything from H2's to Navi's, Honda's and Dodge, I always come back to GM. I will say that GM should have put in a better stall and tranny in the TBSS so it could match up with the SRT-8 GC Jeep stock n stock! But its fast enough and with way more head and body room than the Jeep SRT8. One thing about the SS brand is its not all about the speed, It bares history and reputation to be super gangsta, just something you can cruise and look good in!

Im not a huge fan of GM, but I would buy one of these over any Honda or Toyota. Neither of them offer anything simular to the Trailblazer in terms of power, plus the Trailblazer looks far better than the hideous looking Toyotas or any monstrosity from Honda.
