Squall doesnt die . rinoa finds him because they make the promise to meet so they find eachother when they are lost in the time compression after ultemicia.not many people watched the credits so they thought he died.but u see them kissing on the balcony at the end which is a happy ending so i leave it a that. ff8 is the best

correction, he did die, but rinoa brought him back to life in that field, and by doing that squall was able to make it back to the correct time also

the very end after the battery ends is : rinoa looks up into the sky and see a shooting star. she does that little cute point toards the sky just as she did when they first met, when rinoa also saw a shooting star. squall then moves in for the kiss.. and balamb flies off into the sky

This is such a beautiful song I like it the part when Squall free Rinoa from the holding cell and they hung each other. That part shows that squall has falling in love with Rinoa and finally shows his love for her. This song may seem sad but its also shows the love between them.

Well, Rinoa managed to save him. I guess, Squall was lucky enough when he met Rinoa& became her knight as well.

I like Kingdom Hearts and all...but when compared to the Final Fantasy series Kingdom Hearts looks terrible :P

Final Fantasy is alot deeper, more mature and sobering.
