El coche se encuentra en la comandancia de la guardia civil de granada, y esta en peores condiciones a como se ve en el video, lleva ya unos 5 años bajo el sol, lluvia, etc, esta con pequeñas bolladuras por los laterales, le han robado la estrella delantera entre otras cosas, vamos que esta hecho una pena, lo mas seguro es que salga a subasta privada y se lo quede cualquier mando de la guardia civil o cualquier politico.
A ver, os cuento un poco la historia de este coche, este coche tiene apenas 400km y fue decomisado porque tenia una matricula equivocada de un concesionario mercedes de madrid, el problema es que una vez aclarado la equivocacion por parte del concesionario, es que estaba puesto a nombre de una empresa fantasma por el tema inmobiliario, es decir que fue pagado con dinero negro, asi que logicamente no aparece dueño ni aparecera.

The SLR is parked at the Guardia Civil's (police) parking in Granada (South of Spain) from the 2005-2006. It is supposed to be a stolen car because its number plates were from a Smart. Justice is very slow and it should end auctioned... when, that is the question because the car is parked outdoor and the weather in Granada is very extreme, with 40ºC in the summer and below 0º in the winter.

The pictures in the video were taken in 2007 as to why it had gathered dust sitting there with no protection for around 1.5/2 years also with the guys asking the police if they could look at it and then realising the doors were unlocked when they pressed the door button. Hence why there are interior shots. It is also claimed that the SLR was going to auction due to nobody claiming it. I know nothing else and hope that cleared things up.
Okay the story on this Mercedes McLaren SLR is that the Grenadian police pulled the driver over as the car was identified as using false registration plates which were from a SMART car although it obviously wasn't and a full check was made on the SLR as they determined it was stolen so the driver was arrested and the car put into police holding. Although nobody initially reported it stolen or claimed it to be theirs so it stayed in police holding from around 2005/6.

The pictures in the video were taken in 2007 as to why it had gathered dust sitting there with no protection for around 1.5/2 years also with the guys asking the police if they could look at it and then realising the doors were unlocked when they pressed the door button. Hence why there are interior shots. It is also claimed that the SLR was going to auction due to nobody claiming it. I know nothing else and hope that cleared things up.

Okay the story on this Mercedes McLaren SLR is that the Grenadian police pulled the driver over as the car was identified as using false registration plates which were from a SMART car although it obviously wasn't and a full check was made on the SLR as they determined it was stolen so the driver was arrested and the car put into police holding. Although nobody initially reported it stolen or claimed it to be theirs so it stayed in police holding from around 2005/6.

Plus its claimed they were kind of scared when they went inside it if they got into trouble but risked it anyway as when are you going to get another chance like that soon? Oh and the key wasn't in the ignition anyway, just unlocked doors.
