you should edit the house. Build that porch that you said you were going to do. Make anouther top on top of your house. Put wood or what ever and put it across to anouther tree. I just watched your series from episode 1 to 44 in 2 or 3 days. Mainly because my mom says it will mess up the cpu ad make it slow or whatever, in hope that i will get tired of the game.. Didn't work. I loved the series but I am not subscribing due to the fact of cod videos. I belive I have the solution to your bed problem:

If you sleep with the door open, crap will spawn and wake you up.

Usally it happens every time you sleep, so you need to destroy the door then put it back.

hi, about the bed... u might just have put it in the very lower layer of leaves of the tree, enabling mobs to attack you, just like if you put the bed near a wall.

If you hate when monsters spawn near you when you sleep, here's what you should do: 1) Make your house smaller. Monsters won't spawn near you if your house is small enough. 2) Make your house brighter. Monsters will spawn near you if your house is poorly lit. 3) Make separate rooms. Monsters might spawn in a different part of your house, so if you block off space and place a door, you'll be safe as you sleep. Hope this helps!

I believe if you add more torches in your tree house, the mobs won't spawn in there.

For example, there's a less lit area between your bed and that big window. If you add 1 torch in that corner, that should solve your midnight mob problems.
