  • :) I'm back for your beautyfull hands

  • @bartoxha Hello and ,thank you ;0)

  • I have many pics of the coast here in Newfoundland, actually there's 2 short videos that has my fiances guitar music and pictures that we both have taken over the past couple of years. "Newfoundland My Backyard" and "Newfoundland Still Being Discovered", have a look and let me know what you think?

  • @lynnpyoung I will do ,,thank you ,,I have a workshop full of people here at the moment , so have just popped in for a bite to eat ,,but I will look later.;0)

  • Love your work and I have learned so much from you, thanks for sharing your knowledge as I'm a new self discovered painter who lives in arms reach of the ocean. Keep doing what your doing...your an inspiration to me and many!!

  • @lynnpyoung Thank you ,,, you are very kind , I too live close to the coast in Cornwall Its good to know my videos are of help to you .

I am working on a seascape that you may like at the moment, watch this space as they say.;0)

Its a dark stormy sea painted on a black background which I am doing as a dvd but will also put a shortened version on here.

  • @alankingwell Sounds very interesting, something I will certainly follow. I would also be interested in your DVD's. I live in Newfoundland and witness many different seascapes on a daily bases, guess that's why I'm drawn to painting ocean scenes. Thanks for your response!

  • @lynnpyoung I would love to see some pictures of your coast, if ever you are out with your camera ;0)

  • what brush r u using??

  • @hevanonangelinitus Just a worn stumpy old brush ,,nothing special. Its ideal for painting foam.

  • Tremendous.

  • Awesome!

  • amazing!

  • Stunning technique, many compliments!

  • @cremo72cremo Thank you very much .

  • Simply beautiful. I always wondered how that to get effect in my seascapes. Now that I have found you, I am sure that I can improve, especially on my present painting. What kind and size of brush are you using? None of my tiny brushes hold paint like yours does.

  • @mamaumummynumber1

Hi ,,I use all sorts of brushes to work with ,,When I have time I am going to do a short demo on brushes , I have nearly finished another seascape which may be of interest to you, it should be on this week. Its the first demo I have done in HD so I hope it comes out ok.

I am still getting used to the new program so the new demo is a little raw, but the video quality will,,,or should be much better.

  • I love it!

  • Almost want to cry at this profound talent! Is there a reference used?

  • @ma98cal Thats nice,,thank you . The water in the seascapes are done by memory and imagination, the only thing I need to get a reference for is the headlands in the distance as this does have to be the right shape , the sea I can make up , as it changes all the time .;0)

  • i like that thank you to show us this technic

  • so beeutiful

  • We definitely have a common sense of style, it's just I'm about a mile behind you haha..., loved this.

  • Well damn that looks real!!!

  • Excellent work! :) Is it acrylic ?

  • Ditto on Sarl1962s question below...what instrument are you using? Is it a colored pencil?

  • @bobreadartist Hi Bob I am using brushes,,thats all I ever use,,just normal brushes that you can buy in any good art store.

  • could you what tool you are using thank you

  • @sarl1952 There is no tool ,just a paint brush.

  • You may find the Stormy Sunset or Cornish Seascape videos a little more helpful,This one was just finishing off two pictures, some of the others I have on youtube have text to help you through the painting.

    I hope this is helpful.

    Thank you.

  • Lovely work, I started oil painting again after many years, some of my work is quite good but I really would like to be able to paint ocean / wave scenes.

I purchased two DVD's about painting waves and foam patterns, I found them to be very poor as far as instruction was concerned and also very complicated for the average student..

You have a wonderful technique, do you have any instructional material available ?

    Thank you.

  • Thank you,I am working on some more to add soon.

  • What a wonderful painting. You have inspired me to try oils after having used watercolour for years. I look forward to your next painting. Thank you.

  • @fragglefans Did you ever get the oils out and have a go?
