  • i used to buy those at book fairs, because they said they were erasers... lol now i know.....

  • @lemony112 Because those are erasers, fimo canes are made out of clay.

  • Where do you get the razor blade?

  • The way this camera doesn't autofocus makes me feel like I don't have my contact lenses on. :P

  • where can you buy the knife from?

  • @amelialovesbeauty a razor blade works fantastic on them, but if you are referring to the blade I used, it's called an Exacto knife, and can be purchased at any craft or art supply store

  • hi if you use these on polymer clay creations, do you stick them on after you bake the creation or do you cook it with the creation?

  • @nasia97 Actually, you can do it either way. Fimo canes come already pre-made and baked, but if you make them from scratch, it can be applied to your creation and then baked completely together. But if you add the pre-made slices to your creation and then bake it, the slices wont be affected at all

  • Thank you for the buyer info Im so going to buy this asap

  • @LiyamarTopNotch No problem!

  • How many canes do you have?

  • @kroxx131998 lol well I use them for my shop, so I've got thousands

  • what stores can you et them in please responed

  • @musiclover8563 Fimo canes cannot be purchased in stores, they are only available online

  • Where did you get that ring ?? Its so cool. Please respond

  • @buddyz143 Thank You! I purchased it from Icing a couple of years ago

  • U got so many fimo canes.Cool I love it!!! ^^

  • Why cant you return it to the kitchen?

  • @yaritzae03 The polymer clay is toxic if ingested, and so even though a good washing my get all the remnants of clay off, it is really not recommended that you re-use any tools/knives for food

  • i thought they were some sort of candy at first....

  • wot if ur in england

  • I loved the doll in the beginning!! :)

  • where else can u get them except from eBay?????????????

  • @itsbella ebay :)

  • Where do you get them

  • how does the fimo cane slices stick onto ur nail?

  • @snafflesify you can apply them with either a small drop of nail glue, or you can place them on with a wet layer of top coat, wait for them to dry slightly, press them all the way down, and then add another layer of top coat to seal them in

  • I bought some from your etsy shop! Just got them. Can't wait to try them :)

  • @pinkcatz13 YAY!! Please feel free to share any nail designs you've created with them on FB, I'd love to see!

  • @Dollface22772 I will, if they're not too bad :) It's my first time experimenting with fimo

  • check my fimo video out

    i boght mine from ebay

  • I LOVED this vid, but i dobt think ill be watching more because of the scary doll face.. :(

  • OMG! I just used a small knife from the kitchen .. :O

  • @ManduhRachelle LOL thanks

  • @Dollface22772 would you trade some with me i really want canes 8)

  • arent they lose log erasers?

  • @kepas112 LOL no. They do look similar, but they are completely different

  • @Dollface22772 oh okay thanks (:

  • @0726maria some polymer clays have been known to be toxic, therefore it is not wise to use a kitchen knife, even if it has been washed, it's possible to still have some remnants

  • @dollface22772 too bad i live in the netherlands so i cant buy the ring :( pity..., getting finally my fimo canes tomorrow!

  • Do you make these canes yourself? if so, how do you make then flexible because when i cut baked canes even if they are baked for only 5 mins they aren't as smooth as those canes :)

  • @clayminiatures I have made some canes myself, and it's true, that even with a short baking time, they are flexible, but don't have the same give as pre-made canes do. I think it could possibly be the type of clay that is being used

  • @Dollface22772 ok i see, thank you!

  • wow! where did you buy that ring? :o love the vid ! :)

  • @MarlousNegrini Thanks! Te ring I got from ICING

  • how do you make it bendy but solid???

  • @pacmanslave well the canes are made out of clay, which is naturally soft. to make them firm, but still keep them flexible, you only bake them for 5-10 minutes.

  • @Dollface22772 thanks

  • Other then Ebay where can I buy them in Canada ?

  • @HelloMyNameIsBob977 I'm not really sure, since I don't live there. All I know is that in the US, they aren't sold in stores. I suggest you check out some local beauty supply stores and maybe you will stumble onto some

  • can u get them from any nail salon do u know

  • can you get it from sallys naill solon

  • @tatiannavlna you can find the individual slices at some stores, but no, the canes can only be found online

  • The picture at the start is like something out of a horror film.

  • Psst ....thanks to you i am now the proud owner of 100 Fimo canes :P but the worst part is *sob* i didn't stop there i also got 10 gem wheels and the Bundle Monster Plates as well...Got all 3 at Amazon.com.......and no it wasn't enough *double sob* after it arrived i went back and ordered the Migi Nail Art pens from there as well LMAO....i think i might need some intervention ROFL

  • @Queenterrier MWAHHHHHH! I just love being the enabler!

  • @Queenterrier That's literally my exact situation as well lol

  • @Queenterrier Also consider getting your fimo canes from ebay. They are a lot cheaper! I just purchased 100 fimo canes for $5, which included shipping and handling!

  • ummm.......what can u use fimo canes for besides nail art. im stuck between buying sculpting clay or thissss.......:(

  • @ambergummybearz oh wow, the list is endless really. You can use them for many different craft projects, ie. decorating ornaments, jewelry, scrap-booking, you can use them to decorate a phone case, iPod etc

  • omg I bought 100 fimo canes from ebay... and they are shipping from hong kong so i hope they made it into Belgium!!! and that they are pretty and not broken xD

I'm really scared that they will look like something really ugly :S Hopefully they'll arrive soon so I can stop worrying xD

  • @BlingNailZz there is no need to worry. You may get one or 2 that you don't like, but all in all, they will be great, and they don't break, so no worries

  • @Dollface22772 they don't break!! thats great news :D thank you so much for your reply now I can relax a little xD xoxo

  • @JadeMadhatter haha maybe I will but the problem is that I can't speak english very well xP so that's going to be in dutch :D My canes arrived after 1 and a half week and they where shipped from hongkong to belgium so your canes will be there soon :D and they will be perfect :D

  • @BlingNailZz Ahh could always subtitle them :) xx and i hope they are perfect i'm jealous you have yours hahah x mine are coming from HongKong as well :) i'll be sure to let you know when mine arrive :) xx

  • @JadeMadhatter haha :D awesome :D xoxo

  • i didn't see the link of ebay seller that you said you bought the fimo cane from?

  • @berrygummy I'm sorry about that, it's added now :)

  • Your camera was very blurry... I didnt get to see any details in the fimo canes.....

  • @MsShockalocka Yep, I am aware of that. I'm working on getting another camera

  • they arent all made of polymer clay! a fimo cane is made of fimo clay and a polymer cane is made of polymer clay and a sculpey cane is made of sculpey clay! they are all different

  • @sammy4797 Actually, that is incorrect. Names such as Fimo, Sculpey, or Cernit ( just to name a few) are actually brand names, but they all are the same product, polymer clay.

  • Sorry if you already answered this but how do you get them to stay on?

  • @Onyxaxe just apply them to a wet top coat, and then another layer of top coat to seal them in. If you want really long staying power, adhere them with a small drop of nail glue

  • @Dollface22772 Cool, Thank you!

  • @Onyxaxe you're welcome! :)

  • Thank you sooooo much Dolly!!!! i thought fimo was hard!!! didn't know i could bend it and slice it with a regular rasor!! thanx a lot hun ;*****

  • @GooGoowa You are so very welcome! I'm glad I could help!

  • honestly answered every single question i had thank you so much!!

  • can you please tell me where you got that knife so i can go and buy one, thank you

  • @happypuppy1011 you can purchase an Exacto knife and blade at any craft or art supply store

  • can you make it??? and can you show

  • @christinex123 Can I make and show what exactly?

  • can you buy it in stores???

  • @christinex123 you can purchase full canes only online, such as E-bay....but you can find individual slices in most Sally Beauty Supply stores

  • 0:28 they look like little erasers! :)

  • @xxmarci4everxx LOL I know everyone says that

  • I love love LOVE your ring!!

I was totally distracted by its gorgeous-ness

and had to watch the video over again. Lol.

Will definitely be checking out the seller you

    recommended. Thanks Dolly!!!

  • @xXxipukeglitterxXx I'm glad you like it, it is one of my favorites too. Hit up your local ICING, I hope you find it!

  • @Dollface22772 Unfortunatley we dont have an ICING where I am. I will definitely keep a look out for something like it though. Thanks for the tip.

  • @xXxipukeglitterxXx I will be carrying a couple different rings in my Etsy shop that are similar...not exact, but you may like them just the same, I'll let you know when they are available

  • @Dollface22772 Awesome. I get paid on Monday. Hopefully a little of it will go towards some jewelry in your shop. :]]

  • @lilmissyellO LOL no offense taken, it's supposed to be creepy! =D

  • i know that you have 100s of sticks, but aren't these reusable?

  • @atikahchicah not really. If you are using them as nail art, then you are attaching them with nails glue or top coat, and then you are also covering them with top coat to ensure they remain on the nail....as a result, it would be difficult to reuse them.

  • they remind me of these stick erasers at school that we would cut up.

great video and i love your skull ring!

  • Loved the cans u decorated. Great idea!!!

  • I gotta try these sometime! I never thought of using them for jewelry. I always thought they were just for nail art. Nice ideas!

  • When forming things of fimo clay, the clay is very soft, and when the figure is formed it hardens in the heat of an oven. Is the fimo-canens hard or soft? :)

  • @Guldefisk neither. They aren't the bakeable clay that once put in the oven, it cans hard. It's almost a rubber/plastic type consistency which allows them to be sliced.

  • Ordered my FIRST set today...50 canes from Ebay. Looking forward to summer designs with fruit fimo! Mary ;-)

  • @GettingNailed Awsome! The fruit ones make for some of the best summer designs!

  • That's interesting!

I just bought my first pre-sliced fimos and I am really curious how they look on natural nails :)

  • @camysh They are very pretty, and can be used for SO many different designs

  • wow, and yet something else i have learned......xD

  • @1msbeanpie =D Good! Im glad that you did!

  • so basically..they're long bendy erasers? neato! :o

  • @678trriple98212 LOL not really, they would be useless as erasers

  • yes! yes i do! i'm so weak =D plan on buying lots of them Muahahahahaa

  • Do you have a web address for ICING, Google brings up too much :)

  • @Poutress it's just icing(dot)com...but they don't sell it on the site, only in stores. ICING is a part of Clarie's accessories and the store can be found in just about any mall
