@rocker4213 I would say that Argerich and Horowitz are above Rubinstein and Yundi Li :) Yundi Li is the new favourite of the world of course. Rubinstein is by many considered to be a little hyped. Personally favourite is Horowitz :) But hey, all are as you say up there, in the top level! :)
Not only is Martha a fantastic pianist, she is also a great person: when she was a small child she used to present her new shoes or toys to poor children.
Quite good joke, but does it really depend on what is she wearing? You surely know that classical music is completely different than pop or other primitive genres. This is about music not fashion :-O
Oh, and that is why I like Classical and instrumental music so much. Really symphonic likewise philharmonic :-)....as this is not my most favourite piece, I discovered it only now, but I like to listen to new compositions and then compare them.
ofcourse not. infact i persona;;y feel if i wore ripped jeans at the RCM one should just listen regardless. but how would that go down.... unfortunateley we are at a time when sometimes intant visuals have more of an impact. THough I ve always lked a man in a suit.lol. music is for everybody. all nations
Argerich and Maisky, now available in grey.

i'm learning this right now and the rhythms are so hard to keep in time with the piano!!
this is flawless and so beautifully played!

It's only the third movement that's so damn hard.... I perform the first movement on it's own at the moment.. I think it works.

to marrieter08:
who cares about her outfit.. it is supposed to be enjoyed for the music, not for what they look like.
to everyone else:
the music is amazing, I don't listen to music like this often... but I must say that this is some of the better of its kind that i have heard
