I saw it in Christchurch, New Zealand. It was a truly awesome night.
Nearly all the major hits were played. My one regret was that The Eagle and the Hawk or I'd rather be a Cowboy were not performed. I recognise in hindsight though you need a powerful voice to do the former justice.
Perhaps the biggest revelation for me, was "What are we making weapons for". Of all the songs I have seen, that has to be one of the best music videos of all time.
Hey all..my other half Glen Bain is the guitarist on the show...he has told me it is going really well...He will be home within the next couple of weeks
We went to see the Show last night. What a fantastic show. Thank you so much for letting us be part of the wonderful experience. John Denver will always be a big part in our lives.
It is so good to see such tallented musicians enjoying their work.
I hope this show will soon come to the UK - John's concerts were always sold out here and I'm sure this would be a success too. Christine, UK Friends of John Denver
I saw the Premier of Whisper the Wind last night in Dunedin New Zealand. It was such a brilliant show, the singers and musicians were amazing, Bevan Gardener (who is blind) hometown boy from Dunedin was the young John Denver had a wonderful reception as did Ron Rich of Florida the older John Denver their voices were so like John Denver it was awesome. As you can tell I loved Whisper the Wind and I hope you all get a chance to go see it. Carol New Zealand.
I believe it is coming to the US after Australia. Try a search on 'Whisper the Wind' or contact Hal Thau who was John's manager and who originated this show. Good luck
