I'm 50, and I've watched a lot of TV in my life. I can honestly say that ELR was the best written, best cast, and best acted sit-com I've ever seen. And holy crap that Patty Heaton is hot.

Overdone? One of the reasons I love ELR is there's no cooked, generic one-liners like in most sit-coms. ELR is completely character-driven and believable. The relationship between Ray and Debra is so amazing, I sometimes I feel like I'm eavesdropping on their conversations and their great fights (best fights ever).

Ok, I'll step down from my soapbox. What would you rate higher on the sit-com-o-meter?

No, you stay up on that soapbox of yours, you've got plenty of backing that this is a bona fide 10 out of 10, and one of if not THE (I'd go for THE) best sitcom overall of all-time.

And I'm 19, so we've fixed the generational war, there IS none... it's just a few like the oddly-named Mr. Balls up there...
