Mantis and Mean Streak sucked: Mantis because I was too tall for the restraints to fit me (5'10 - please! I'm not a giant) and Mean Streak because it was too rough - it literally HURT my back!

There heartline roll was taken out before the ride opened due to higher than normal stresses on the train.... That's the reason the ride didn't open on opening day last year, and I agree that it would've made that ride... Thats the part I was looking forward too the most, but it's still awesome...
Love it!!! I was one of the first 3000 to ride Maverick on its Oening Day!!! I'm a lil bit short when I sit down, so my ears took a beating, but the ride was Great!!

OMG!!!!!!! This was a great ride! But the hills were sooo small. :( The ride was mainly about speed.... NOT height..... :P

You can't really tell by the video but the first drop is at a ninety five degree drop and it feels like you're flying

no, no... it was because it put too much lateral strain on the car and the riders... so they took it out 3 days before it was scheduled to open

Because the roll pulled so many G's on the riders...Those high G's were very dangerous...And also, it put a strain of the trains....
