I want to buy the trial version. (You know, the download able one). I live in Australia, and obviously have an Australian credit card. How can I buy the trial version if you can only buy the U.S or Canadian version? Please Help!
You don't need to buy the trial. Trials are free. Do you mean the full version? If so, well... I'm afraid that I don't think you can. I live in Australia too, and I've been trying to find a way to pre-order the actual game, but I think it's just not possible at this stage. I guess we have to wait for September 7 *waits for September 7*
thats a nice creature. Finally a creature that isn't a dick. I can already tell that most people will be populating the spore universe with penises and other "less pleasing" organisms. kinda sucks for the people who actually want to enjoy the game.
i think the reason the people still make the creatures even though its horrible is because its just fun to use the editor, personaly editing my creature (in my opinion) is better then testdriving him

this guy is just noob at makeing a creature in the Creature Creator. to make tentacles work in a nice way you have to give each a food on the middel og the tentacle so it will ues the tentacles as legs to move whit instead of just glides on one of them

and can you pleas tell me what the point of having tentacles in a game, if thay cant be used to walk on without special tricks to make it look right? ... no, this has nothing to do with the guy and the editor, and evrything to do with the devolepers still having things to fix and tweak.
Relax guys, I think those are only limbs, without any feet-ending with some suction cup attachments on them, to look like more a tentacle, that's why the creature is only gliding I guess.
Won't get fixed. It is next to impossible to get full procedural collision detection to work properly, especially n 3 months. They would have to delay the game a year or more, again. This has been a known issue for 2 years, and if they could of fixed it they would have. It glides (hovers/floats) because it has no feet attached. That is one of the Features, not a bug.
It's been a known issue for 2 years. Do to the nature of the Creature Creator and the way Procedural Animation works, it is not possible. Not without delaying the game another year or more.
I would say it is a performance issue, to reduce clipping you would have to create a rigid body with a high number of collisions per second, that means a higher processor requirement.
