You all need to go back and read the user's manual on your treadmills. As cute as this is, you should never allow your children or your pets on or near the treadmill. They are made for ADULTS wearing athletic shoes. Children and pets can get their little feet caught in the belt, causing terrible, sometimes 3rd degree burns, and amputation.
@MommaRou Are you stupid? This thing isn't electronic. It isn't plugged into a wall. This is a self-propelled thing. YOU need to go back and read the description. The dachshund makes that thing go, not a motor. And he's being watched.
@carpetembraced: May I ask why you felt the need to start name-calling when all I was doing is trying to save some dogs injury? My comments had no malice -- just a warning to keep animals from being hurt. I do see that this particular item is self-propelled, which I overlooked in my first comments, but I have seen many other videos of animals on real treadmills, and that worries me so. I work for a company that makes treadmills, and we see serious injuries involving pets and children often.

@josephyoungfilm ... Are you a fool. First off, the dog is enjoying this. Animals don't do this kind of stuff if they don't want to.
Second, I have a Dachshund too. They kind of don't like going for long walks so they don't get much exercise. So this treadmill is exactly what the doctor would order.
Third, I am getting one. ASAP.
Fourth, if my dog does not like it then I won't force him to walk on it. What, you think we get whips and chains to make them do this kind of stuff!
She looks kind of scared, but that is an excellent idea! My dachshund needs to lose some weight. :(

Poor dog! Some people shouldn't be allowed to own animals.

agreed - where can I get one - my dogs could really use a treadmill for bad weather but we can't afford a full size one.

@theblackpawn ... They have these on Amazon and on eBay. The exact model. Look under "kids treadmill."
On eBay or Amazon they are only $87 shipping included!
