  • Jones is still in prison, he applied for parole but was denied.

  • Thumbs up if you watched this show only for the UPDATES!

  • Notice how they left the fact that the Murderer is a Satanist out of the update?

  • April 22nd. The she was abducted by There are many, many Satanist who kill for Satan. This fact is not widely told by the authorities, but as the Light of Jesus Christ grows stronger, the darkness will grow in intensity. When people find out what Satanism is really all about they want to get out, but do not know how, and are too afraid. The young woman met a horrible death. Please watch your children. Please

  • April the Nd is very close to May Day One of the most worshiped Satanic Holiday's as This young woman was a Christian and most likely a virgin she most likely was murdered as a sacrifice to Satan, by Satanist. It was a full moon and I am sure she is either sacrificed or a sex slave. I just hope I am wrong, and if I am right I hope it went quick, and I know she has been thrown from the freedom train if she was used by a Satanic group by now.

  • I was about to look that name up on google for any subsequent updates, if not for the update given at the end of this video upload. My guesstimation, before seeing the update, was either foul play or she's run off to explore pole dancing or prostitution [with no disrespect intended to her or her immediate family]. They've identified her remains - apparently - so it was entirely foul play.

  • Ok wait a minute. The update stated that Kerri was killed within hours of her abduction?! The how the hell did shirley Kannaple see her with the other girl! I think the girl who was supposedly with "Kerri" was telling a tale and Ms.Kannaple hooked in to it and went on tv for even more attention. I surprised that shirley hasn't been arrested for false statements/misleading a investigation. She also probably the one who wrote the letters too

  • Some of these updates will scare you if they catch you off guard!

  • It's funny that they said the girl suffered from a memory lapse and didn't recall introducing Keri Lynn to this woman. It wasn't a memory lapse, it never happened. That woman is nuts. I think some people have a psychological need to inject themselves into investigations to feel important.

  • @Kirke182 Yeah, I agree. It seems too strange to be true

  • @Kirke182 It's a shame but that DOES happen. It was either her or the girl.

  • i think santa claus took her

  • He needs to die in prison, end of story.

  • Typical New York. They lack the guts and the integrity to put to death such a piece of sub-human garbage. He should not be on the planet but he is eligible for parole this year. What a world.

  • He was just denied parole today and will eligible for it again in two years. What a sicko! He claims he kidnapped Kari just because he was having marriage problems with his wife. Just because your wife's cheating on you doesn't justify you a chance to rape some innocent girl.

  • @ShabaLabaD1ngDong Yes, I read that on the Unsolved Mysteries Wiki. I hope he will also be denied parole in the future. If he does come out of prison he will soon notice that the world has changed a lot since 1993, mainly because of the internet. We all know who he is and what he has done. I would sure make his life unhappy if he would move into my neighbourhood!

  • @Toops144 Ahh, I see!

  • there is no way if i had a teenage daughter that i would send her to the store at night alone like that. i would have gone with her in the car or just gone on my own. so very dumb, so very preventable.

  • @ceci1974girl I've got a better idea. How about tethering her to her bed until she's 26. Or at least give her a gun. Also, she might get hit by a car so maybe YOU'D suggest she wear body armor when she goes out with her friends. Be reasonable. This is a small rural community in upstate New York where crime is rare and people have the general expectation of safety. You live your life. You make reasonable decisions. Sometimes bad things just happen to good people Fuckstick.

  • Kerri would have been 40 years old this year if it wasnt for what happened in the clip above.

  • The bastard is eligible for parole this year, but he won't be getting released on parole. No way in hell.

  • Disappointing update.

  • I knew this didn't have a happy ending. Seems like all those UM sightings are always incorrect. Like all the bogus sightings on the case of "Lil Miss" license plates. There was still 30 seconds left on the end so I knew there was an update and I dial down the volume so I won't get freaked out. It is so sad that there are such cruel sadistic mosters like these men around just raping and killings girls. What the f is wrong with them. Don't they have a daughter or if not, a sister or mother?

  • Corrupt cops often force people into confessing. We had a case in my country exactly the same where a young girl went to the store and wasnt seen again. Sometime later someone suspected a neighbour and turns out he had abducted her, murdered her at his house and buried her in a shallow grave some miles away. Hope that neighbour was well checked in this case or had a decent alibi. Could have been anyone but sure hope they investigated the neighbour.

  • My mom apparently knew this girl as did my aunt. Very sad story, and the guy who did it was a sick sick SICK individual. My cousin's old house is shown in the 30 second mark.

  • what it comes down to is horrible things can happen in this scary world of ours, at all hours of the day or night, not just after 9 PM. the parents are not to blame for her death, neither is the 16 year old victim. the person who commited this crime is to blame. all we can do is stay safe, be cautious, use our judgement and cherish every minute we have with our loved ones because no one ever knows what tommorrow brings.

  • sleaze bag is eligible for parole already

  • how did such an idiot comment from a 15 year old get five thumbs up?

Hello? most kids at 16 are allowed to go to a specific place after 9 pm, like a friends house,a party,a movie, etc. but who the hell is out in the street at 9:30? only kids who have parents that dont care.

The point is her parents were too fucking lazy to get in their goddamn car and drive up there, they sent their 16 year old daughter out instead. Thats not okay.

  • @MeesterCrumpet That's not entirely true. Have you ever been to au sable forks? It's such a tiny place that you can walk from one end of the city to the other in about an hour. From what i know, she was being sent out to get some stuff from the grand union grocery store off of main street. It's not that far from the girl's house. She was murdered btw by a well known criminal. She died the same day she went out and was kidnapped, raped, and murdered.

  • @GodsBurden A child should not be out at night alone or during the day, but particularly at night no matter where the place is. We have to stop with this "it never happens here" naivete. This is why the criminals are attracted to such areas is due to this kind of thinking. And it does not matter the race of the criminal. A criminal is a criminal and they will seek for complacency.

  • @GenX4ever80s It's 9:30 at night, and it's less than a couple blocks away. She was over 16, it's perfectly normal for someone at that age to go get something from the store. What you're doing is trying to blame the parents for something that was generally acceptable in that area. Hell, i used to get my grandmother cigarettes when i was a kid and they never ever carded me. The murderer was looking to kill anyone. It could have BEEN anyone. He didn't specifically stalk her.

  • @MeesterCrumpet I am sorry but I agree. We weren't allowed out of the house when we were growing up. Especially after this time of night AND at the age of 16. That is just the way we were brought up and this has worked. Sure things have happened at anytime, but I wondered why hadn't the parents gone to the store themselves. Use wisdom and curtail the time that they are out. Certain people who are not right tend to be out at this time. It is true

  • @GenX4ever80s It could have happened in the middle of the day, at night, it can happen at any time. You shouldn't coddle people especially when they're teenagers in a small town. That's what breeds insane lunatics like robert jones. Do you know what he was arrested for? Robbing banks. The guy was a complete fucking lunatic, and not letting your teenage daughter go literally down the road to get groceries is going to change that. It would have just happened to someone else.

  • goes to show u that hypnosis is rubbish

  • you people are crazy. 16 year olds can stay out until 12 or so. 9:30? jeeze. but either way, this is a very sad story. im sure her parents feel bad enough without everyone telling her they were awful for letting her go out at half past 9.

  • I can't imagine going 6 years only to find out she was raped, killed, and buried

  • @BukkakeSniper Proof upstate new york police at the time were fucking idiots or didn't care. They're too busy harassing "the brown people" for the most part. My dad used to get the worst of it. They would do the rambo treatment to him all the time. Pick him up from the road, drive him to the other side of the county and just abandon him there saying they didn't want his kind there.

  • @GodsBurden o ya sureeeee.....thats that race card

  • @SureShotSav It's proof that the cops up there at the time didn't care. Seriously, they didn't bother to look for any shallow graves? At all? They didn't treat it as a murder victim case? After several years? Remember, the guy who did it got away with it for almost a decade. He had been arrested multiple times between that time and they didn't think to even check to see if anyone saw his vehicle or anything near there at 9:30 at night?

  • I'm not very familiar with the US justice system, but in the States don't you get life in prison for killing someone? (except for the States that have the death penalty). How the hell is he eligible for parole after only 18 years?

  • @snowwpea No you do not get Life always. Each case is dff. There isn't 1 rule for all- depends on the jury, evidence etc. It's quite hard to get the death penalty and even then you can appeal. appeal ad nauseum, etc. You can get out in a few years for murder! But of course plenty are in for life, too!

  • @snowwpea

Being eligible for parole, and actually being granted it, are two very different things.

I can't imagine any Parole Review Board approving parole for a child rapist, kidnapper, and murderer.

That animal can dream about parole, but the only way he will ever leave prison, is in a pine box.

  • @skeilak Right, I realize that. But I think anyone who murders, or rapes a child should never be eligible for parole. Just my opinion.

  • @snowwpea

I agree, and under most States current Sentencing Guidelines, "life imprisonment without possibility of parole", if not the death penalty, would be the most likely sentence for such a crime.

However not all murders will warrant that stiff a sentence. The usual sentence in most States, is "25 to Life", meaning the offender must serve 25 years, before being considered for parole.

There is no parole available to those convicted in the Federal Court System, however.

  • @snowwpea im with you they should cut him you know where with a dirty scalpel!

  • @snowwpea They probably didn't have enough proof and he confessed..a compromise...sad, but it happens. I'd fry the fucker!!

  • If my parents sent me out at 9:00PM to go to the store when I was 16, and I'm sure they did, my mum would wait up until I got home. Even now that I'm 20, my mum still dose this...

  • err why did they only notice when she wasnt in her bed in the morning? how about when she didnt come home that night

    !!! ?

  • @lindamichelle1 It must have been a thing where they trusted her enough and felt safe enough that they could go to bed at the time she went to the store and count on her to be back and in bed when they woke up. Too bad some POS (Robert Jones) had to ruin that for them.

  • the new kids on the block???

  • Damn go run ur own errand. Don't send your 16 yr old child out @ 9 something at night.

  • The parents are totally responsible for their daughter's tragic death. At 9:30pm, kids are supposed to be in the house getting ready for bed, not out in the streets alone running errands for their lazy ass dads! Dumb ass parents.

  • @remoteoutofcontrol yeah thats crazy for a 16yr old to be out at 9:30 in the summer! I don't know where you grew up, but on summer break in a small town only losers and 5yr olds are going to bed at 9:30. The only person to blame is the person who killed her. SHUT THE FUCK UP STUPID.

  • @notobeanassbut Kids that hang out late at night on the streets have lousy parents. Your folks probably kept calling you stupid, telling you to shut up every time you had an opinion.

  • @notobeanassbut She didn't have to be in bed by 9:30, but at that age it's not safe for a young girl to be out alone. At that age at least go with a group of friends.

  • @notobeanassbut You can blame the killer all you want, but it ain't gonna undo the pain and loss of losing a loved one. Prevention is better than cure. I'd rather be known as a loser than a murder victim, any day.

  • @remoteoutofcontrol "You can blame the killer all you want" Thats the only one to blame in this whole situation.

  • @notobeanassbut And you are right too. The KILLER is to blame. But at this point, we really need to be careful at ALL hours of the day, but particularly at night because this is how the killers use this cover of the later hours. The night is where they most likely commit the crime where people are not able to really see very clearly and this is what these creeps use, even the police could not find this child in the cover of night. This is just an awful , awful case.

  • @remoteoutofcontrol This is all that I am saying. Prevention IS better than cure and at the same time, we had just better look out for one another and just care and watch out for each other. Period. Day and night.

  • @notobeanassbut

I don't know any fathers who would let their 16 year old daughter run an errand at night by herself at 9:30 pm

  • @notobeanassbut that's true. ppl shouldnt blame the victim. however after dark i had to be with someone to be out at night , a group of friends or an adult. course i grew up in a strict household, so

  • @remoteoutofcontrol That is absurd.

  • oh thats just great...i live in new york, and that bastards free now. we need to change these laws NOW, its all lawer and court money and the security of the law abiding citizens are in constant peril as long as these monsters are treated humanely.

  • Eligible for Parole in 2011 after bank robbery, kidnap, murder? No wonder our streets are so unsafe.

  • @wickedkitty333 Yeah but that's "progressive" right?

  • Thats crazy.Preciate you letting me no.

  • The NKOTB video portion wasn't showed in this segment. If I remember correctly, it was added in at a later date when the parents thought it was her in the video. Sadly, it wasn't.

  • Can someone sum up the update because i couldnt see it well....

  • @CHRONICBURNZSLO Some dude name Jay kidnapped raped and murder'd her within hours and buried her 10 miles away from her home

  • @UtubeDuDeDuh uh...no, the bastards name is Jones, and the PLACE where he murdered the gurl is called Jay. pause the vid and read thoroughly

  • i dont care how safe you feel in a neighbourhood you dont let your child out on their own at 10 oclock at night!

  • Wish u could still pick up a bag full of groceries for $3

  • @herronfishoil You still can, if it's 3 silver dollars :)

  • Comment removed

  • How in the world do you allow your young daughter to go to the store by herself? I got tears in my eyes seeing this story and the update because I have a little girl! What kind of a monster do you have to be to hurt a child! I have always been a UM fan but stories like these are absolutely heart breaking!

  • I always think of this case whenever I walk to little grocery store by my house. It's so easy to feel so safe in your neighborhood that you let your guard down. Poor thing was abducted 700 feet from her house.

That one investigator is such an idiot. All teenagers dream of escaping their small, nowhere town. Just because she said this is no evidence of her running away. But LOL @ the other guy suggesting she would be dressed better. I doubt someone set on running away would really care.

  • daddy sent her 2 store at 9 sumthn!!! sum people cause shit like this 2 happn!!!!

  • @teebaddchick It is not the father's fault. One should be able to walk and shop in relative safety. It is the fault of the man who abducted and killed her.

  • Jones had kidnapped Nixon at gunpoint and drove her to his parents' camp, where he raped, strangled and shot the young girl. He buried her on the remote Jay property the following morning. At the time, Jones was 23 and living in Maine with his wife and children. He had returned to his hometown for a week-long visit when he abducted Nixon, whom he had spotted while he was buying beer at the local store.

  • Almost seven years after Kerri Lynn Nixon's body was unearthed in a shallow grave only miles from her home on January 28, 1994, Robert Jones confessed to the kidnapping, rape and murder of Nixon. Jones had been arrested for numerous bank robberies. He had confessed to Kerri's murder in an effort to get his wife Theresa a lighter sentence for driving the getaway car from one local bank heist with their two children riding inside.

  • What a tragedy. Who the heck was the girl that was witnessed in Utah if it wasn't her? Such a shame...

  • I used to love watching this show wit my mom

  • 9:41 Oh dear god, that's horrible.
