Well, to me it just looked like NX was flying back to the swinging perch, and they got in the way as she turned around. I don't think she was dive-bombing them, she was already low anyway and was just trying to get away from them. But Leigh-Ann might say it was almost like when Ben was bonked by NZ, a bit too tight. Probably NX was just wanting them to go away, with or without KS! I wonder what putting another eagle in there would do, it would be an older one, and might make KS bow down.
we have so much to be grateful for -- the care of the eaglets to this point, the kind and knowledgeable staff, the cam so we can see it all, and the time and talent to bring this to us ..... as always saving this.... thanks again. klewis in AZ
Because I was able to remove about 1.5 minutes at the very beginning (when they were just sitting on the perch), I was able to get the whole thing in ONE video, so there is no Part 2. So no need to look for it.... it is all there in THIS video.
This is a WOW! for Dr. Mirangler examining KS in front of the camera. Don't we always wonder what she is doing behind the camera, well now we know! Full-length catching and body exam, even a robe wrap to weigh her. Leigh-Ann & Suzy help her, and don't you wonder when Dr. M examines her closeup optics that she doesn't get bitten. Gotta give the others their due in being very strong, certain of their ability, and able to help the doctor.
