PS: Why are all guitar gear-related demos always so focused on metal and classic rock? It's like this particular industry has no idea that other genres like indie rock, punk, new wave, etc. exist. No offense to the nice dude demoing the product, just a frustration I've had for a while.
@MegaCrasher3000 If you don't understand this things u r idiot! Because, indie rock it's not a style. Andd, normaly, play indie rock with Fuzz (Jimi Hendrix, Led etc), play punk with distortion like JCM 800 or 900 (classic rock), new wave and etc with the same distortion like classic rock! If you need more high gain, its compares with metal tones!! just it!
I have been using a Line 6 TonePort UX2 for a few years now and am looking for a an upgrade. The UX2 sounds pretty plastic. To my ears, this pedal doesn't sound much better, but it's hard to tell on YouTube. Could anyone comment on how this compares to Line 6 amp sims, or possibly suggest something better?
I'm proud to see that a Brazilian Pedal like the amazing GNI Music make success offshore, mainly on exigent and competitive market of USA with higher buying power. Congratulation GNI !!!
well done Andy! It sounds good, but the way in which it compresses is still not very natural, mostly on the higher gain settings. It is good, but there is definitely that brick wall cloud similar to other simulators. Still a useful tool and plenty good for most applications.
Don't really see how, if that were the case companies would go out of business trying to sue the hell out of each other for "ripping off" distortion pedals.
Don't see why that reply would get a thumbs down, it's a perfectly legitimate question. After all, "amp simulator" usually implies "cab simulator" as well, particularly when it has a switch for MIC POSITION!
Anyway... Behringer already ripped off the Sansamp GT2, don't really see the point of this "improvement" with different tone stack and an added boost.
haha that's weird I remember reading your comment asking them to put it up and then i saw the new video and was like didn't someone ask for that demo on another video?
that's not true. first off you can see their own replies (such as the one above). also, I suggested a few weeks ago that they could put a link to the pedal's page on their website in the youtube video description, and they did it in their next video! I never said thanks though . . maybe that's why they didn't do it this time? sorry :(
after I bought this pedal, no other distortion gained my attention

@MegaCrasher3000 - Don't recognize a Johnny Thunders tune when you hear one? If that's not punk rock enough for you...

try any of the pod's by line 6. pocket pod works really well and is pretty cheap.

Does this have cab emulation, so that it could be run into a mixer?
Active or passive tone controls?

Serious question... What is this pedal meant for???
Is it an amp simulator meaning like a boss amp factory or a line 6 bean pod?
or is it an amp simulator meaning like an "amp overdrive simulator" (multi OD pedal)?
hope i made sense.

This pedal seems to have a wide range of OD and Dist tone. Does it clean up when you roll back the volume during high gain settings?
