The only thing possibly wrong with this song is not the song itself, but that it suffered overexposure. The lyrics are excellent and Leigh Nash's airy and angelic voice is simply beautiful. The band backs with an incredible musical hook; the chord changes in this are perfectly evocative of the mood. I've listened to it more times than I'm willing to admit :-)

Completely agree, I was never willing to listen to SPNTR because I would always here them in the background at all kinds of places, like malls and on TV... ruins music for me in almost all scenarios. But I got into them when I was searching for songs by the LA's, sure enough they covered a song by them and I love it.

Once I thought of them in the same way as Ithought of Nickelback before I realized that behind the stupid marketing that goes on for all bands these day, SPNTR was a great band.
