  • "The Times wil be so pleased" xD

  • I hate old fashioned ppl like this

there's a reason the new generation didn't adapt these principles :)

  • David Tomlinson was a legend.

  • thumbs up if you totally agree with George despite the film's message.

  • David Tomlinson and Lionel Jeffries had liquid win where most mortals have blood.

  • "Splendid, George! Inspirational! The Times will be so pleased."

  • the person that we need to mold the breed, is a dictator - i mean nanny - that can give commands :)

  • The future empire lies within her hands. Bit too much to ask don't you think!

  • He treats finding a new nanny like electing the next president. I love this guy, and i love this movie.

  • i consider this song, the birth of rap

  • @ninjaspiceattacks i cant like this comment enough

  • @ninjaspiceattacks ALMOST... "Why Can't a Woman be More Like a Man" (My Fair Lady) in 1959...

  • @ninjaspiceattacks LOL :)

  • I'm going to go out on a limb and say I wish David Tomlinson had gotten a Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for this film. I think his emotional range (from strict and serious, to remorseful to joyous) is really admirable. His performance is just so much fun to watch (much like Supporting Actor nominee Stanley Holloway in "My Fairf Lady")!

  • Winnifred can writefast. She must be doing short-hand.

  • you know that bitch was lying just to impress her husband. she obviously just figured out something to put in the paper that was along the lines of what george said

  • i love this film

  • yeah, the times will be pleased because it will cost you a fortune to put something like that in the paper

  • @happylmc

LOL very true but I love how she is subtley mocking him because what he dictated sounded more like an editorial than an advertisement.

  • @happylmc Or they'll be pleased cause he made an entire poem for one ad. Imagine how we'd stare if we saw that text in a newspaper ad. ;)

  • i wonder how expensive that add was....

  • Didn't George wonder where all this music was coming from as he was singing his advertisement for the Times? "A British Home . . " toot-ta-toot!

  • @TheDarkThunder

    lmao!

  • @TheDarkThunder
