i have this one, i have rambo 4 and it looks sick, smooth picture, but i want to know what is the best setting, because some movies plays at 60 hz others 20 or something like that, is there something i can do to set up the hrz??

yeah the A650 series is really nice. It is like the combination of LCD + Plasma. The deep black level performance is just insanely pure beautiful.

but the speaker in a A650 is ultra crap. A550 speaker is better, much much better, I have both series. But A550 image quality is Med level.

Shouldn't matter if you like me that connects optical out to my own speakers though.

nice, but for some reason why does your blu ray movie take up the whole screen? When ever i watch a BR movie its always got the black lines top and bottom?

thats called widescreen, the guy on the video is playing a normal dvd, which looks really whack..

blu-ray are usually widescreen to look better and clearer

NO... its because of the way they shot the movie go watch batman dark knight in blu ray it switchs any talking you see the bars.. any action you dont because they used diffrent cameras but what happens with the bar is its takeing up lines on your tv so you not watching true 1080p because part of the screen is blank lines and thats part of the rez so its not a true full rezaltion its scaled clear because its wide my ass

Yeah, sony just released a 200Hz (!!!) LCD HDTV! But for price over performance, i'd say a samsung. Sony's are expensive IMHO.

This is a nice TV no doubt about it. But the screen is to reflective for a well lit room. I can easily see the window being reflected in the screen even whilst there is a bright image on. If only Samsung had a simi reflective or full matte option.

After seeing this video im going to have to get the 40 inch now to replace my 32, :p The picture is stunning and this is the Series 6 with 50'000 - 1 Contrast where the brand new Series 7 is 200'000 - 1 Contrast so the deep blacks will be even more black now ^.^

buddie thats life. its the same with everything else aswell.i bought a 3k pc. and we all know how fast they update. its a joke i know. but do yourself a favour and get the latest samsung series. i have the 6series. and its fantastic. excellent price value for money and it peforms beautifully. i payed £700 for my 40inch. and i also bought the matching surround system. and its the best buy ive ever made.

I don't know about that, LCD seem to fade color's and blur immages. The contrast ratio on the best LCD's are about half of what the worst plasma's can produce (LN-40A650 50,000:1 VS PN42A410 100,000:1).

definately samsung series 6, with the Dnie engine, the samsung's are the best full hd lcds to come out and this engine enables NO motion lag, so it's also good for games, i don't know about lg's engine for their tv's but samsung is a most impressive brand!

and guys i also own a sony bravia x-series and that cost me £1700 and all i can say is i payed £900 for the samsung40inch 6 series. and this tv performs just as good if not better. this is one of the best lcd on the market. and at a price of £900 you wont find better..

PART2: only negatives i have is the sound, but dont get me wrong. it is by no means bad. but as with all tvs. if u want the best in terms of cinema sound. then u will need2get a cinema surround system. i picked mine up4 £150 & it compliments this beautiful tv nicely, thanks4the video.

PART1: this tv is absolutly fantastic. if u own a ps3check out game-mode it will blow ur socks off, i bought this tv for £900 the 40inch version & the finish is great. rose/black matalic. not only does it peform great it also looks the business.
