@ktm5194 When Jesse tortured Bob's cousin, Jesse was under terrible emotional distress. A combination of insomnia and paranoia and constant fear of betrayal led Jesse to undergo psychological injuries which led Jesse to bad decision making.

i don't understand why they didn't leave that particular scene in the final 2 1/2 hour cut. it wasn't incredibly long, and i think it really would have underlined bob's guilt in a beautiful way.
