even though Raiders went 8-8 both seasons they showed a lot of improvements as a team maybe not soo mucch on defense though...but think about last season the Raiders swept the afc west division lol 6-0 under Hue Jackson...gotta be optimistic about that...n even though again u went 8-8 this year u missed the playoffs by the last game...where Raiders just played shitty...n i don't think thats on Hue...i think its on the players...in my opinion raiders were the best team in the afc west

After contemplating the firing of Coach Hue Jackson and getting over the initial shock and anger of it. I now feel it was the right move by The Leadership, this team shoulda had 11 or 12 wins this year, but they blew leads in the 2nd half and 4th quarter of important games. And yes Hue didn have Campbell or RUNDMC, but he still had plenty of weapons. The Leadership wants to bring back winning and an 8-8 record is mediocre, especially when u were 7-4 and had a chance to run away with it. JUST WIN

I think it was very unfair to fire Hue Jackson at this point. The Raiders finished 8-8 and because of the defense didn't make the playoffs. Considering all the injuries and bringing in Palmer like they did, I think he did a good job under the circumstances. I'm very disappointed and wish the new coach good luck.
