  • Why is Boingo so expensive in the UK, when its dirt cheap, global and unlimited in the US?

  • Can I use it in an AirPlane? (I`m not going to be traveling, but I DO want to know IF I ever do :P)

  • @FlyingLaptop Hi there. We don't yet offer Wi-Fi on airplanes but that will hopefully change soon!

  • I just bought a laptop that had this software on it, ready to be installed. Here is what I'd like to know: What would I get exactly when paying for this service? Will it allow me to connect to protected Wi-Fi connections that would otherwise be unavailable to the regular public, or even restricted by those in partnership with boingo? And how would I know otherwise, to know that I'd be getting my moneys worth?

  • @HoloSkull We have 170+ partners around the world that accept a Boingo account. Most locations require payment/subscription.

Please email me if you have more questions: bnguyen@boingo.com.

  • I am seriously considering getting Boingo for my IPod Touch Im done with Wireless Routers

  • @MrExplorer7 Great! Let us know if you need help signing up: bnguyen@boingo.com. For Apple mobile devices, you have two options: Boingo Mobile for $7.95/month for global access or Boingo Wi-Fi Credits, which allows you to buy one-hour increments of access for $1.99 per hour. Both apps can be found in the iTunes app store. Cheers!

  • @MrExplorer7 Search "Wi-Fi" on wikipedia. It is in reference to wireless connection provided by routers and the such.
