In a letter to the State of Oregon's Attorney General's Office: On December 5, 2010 I went to the Clearwire Corporation store in Washington Square, Tigard, Oregon to purchase their Internet capable router/modem device called "4G+ Hotspot". I was told that the charges for that device would be $45 which covers my monthly Internet service fee plus an additional $5 per month for device rental. They had no devices/merchandise available in the store for purchase, and I was forced to open an account.

my contract is up thursday. this company is a total ripoff. $75 a month for 1.5mbs when it rarely gets 400kbps with 5 bars on the modem. not to mention the connection is very unstable and cuts in and out constantly. but dont call them about it. it is all your fault. you dont have it set up right, or you have to close to anything in your house. I suppose you are supposed to put it somewhere that has no walls, roof, furniture, windows, people, animals, or storms.

@ur2ez2beat yeah I have a cable connection now. Paying 10$ less than I was for clear and getting 8mb/s up, 1mb/s down. Most of the time I get around 25mb/s up unless the service really loaded. Even the I've never gotten less than 8.
