  • Do you have anymore from this cocert in this quality? Like The flower that shattered the stone or Children of the universe?

  • @MrASPENDENVER Yes, I have. I didn't post it because I didn't like Japanese part. I will post it someday if you want me to.

  • Gradsky not gladsky

  • @MrASPENDENVER Thanks for the info. Just corrected it.

  • Great performance. Such a meaningful song. Think of all the billions spent on weapons around the world that could have been spent to build better homes, water systems, food, medicine etc.

  • @coronet72 Problem is, those things make it more difficult for the empowered few to rule over the masses.

  • I´ve never heard anyone with such a good voice like John. Sounds so good, fascinating!

  • Oh... how I love John!!!

    Isn't it great?!

  • I love hearing this song over and over~ I saw John perform it live and it was totally amazing!!!

  • An amazing performance and what a video! Thank you for uploading it.

  • This version has always been my favorite version.

Alex sang better than in the studio version and John's voice was great!

Thanks for sharing, I'm glad that I could see it again.

  • brilliant song from a Great singer / songwriter , he will always be a hero of mine , the world is a worse place without Johnny Denver . thanks for all your beautiful music , R I P .

  • I saw JD do this live, at Fiddler's Green, in Denver, 1990. It was a stunning performance and here we are, 20 years later, still taking food from the mouths of our babies.

Have we, at long last, no decency as a people? Truly; when will we EVER learn?

We all must keep singing, for our babies and for our world. It's all I can do.

  • @Kburgboy

Unfortunately, as long as there is so much money to be made from war, poverty, and the suffering of other people, as long as sheeple throughout the world refuse to shut down the political and religious rhetoric, and open their minds to truth, we will never learn.

  • Respond to this video...

I remember The 900 Days of Leningrad,

The Sound of the dying, the cut of the cold,

I remember the moments I prayed I would never grow old.

The richness of Sasha's voice, combined with the immortal words of the late Rockey Mountain Troubadour, send chills through my Spirit.

Could it be that the U.S. is destined to suffer through it's own "900 days of Leningrad"??

  • wow what a song i have heard john perform it in concert once but i like this version better
