It seems more like the kid is screaming out of fear than pain. Which is very wrong as well. Psychological trauma is what that is/causes. If this is a cultural thing it is somewhat justified whether we like it or not because it puts it into a WHOLE DIFFERENT CONTEXT. I'm asian and I got hit on my palms by my parents when i did something wrong. I was aware of what I did wrong, and everything was done unemotionally. I dont think physical punishment itself is bad. Its just the matter of degree. I'm saying this because I am worried about people who might think the clip IS an asian culture. It's not. That's horrible and it was hard for me to watch. I'm not justifying the actions of the adults, because I believe that violence is unjustified in all forms.
