Yeah,near this forest, part of the outskirt of Mt. Fuji,there r so famous suicidal places,so called Jukai(sea of forest).
At that places,we cannot use the compass because of magnetic field disorder,so we r easy to lose our way.

I go to film school in Charleston, SC.
I came upon this video b/c i'm doing research for a documentary.
I plan to go out there and camp for a couple of days in the forest.
Do you know if alot of media goes out there?

u mean a documentary about the forest? o/c so many media deal with the theme of forest. n there r lots of great documentary films. the improtant thing is the concept,I think. I really hope you'll find the wonderful marerials in the forest...

This mountain is the highest in Jp(3,776m).Though Mt.Ararat of Noah's ark in Testament is much higher... ;D
