Cleansing and Charging Crystals

cool info, i if the kids at school seen them crystal theyd think its cool.

Anyway i wanted to ask, i got some Orgonite, And I want a sample way to clear it

Could I just put it into a glass, and then fill the glass with organic sea salt? I dont ned much salt do I? Just need to bury it?

And Im guessing I cant put that salt back into the salt jar? as it will contain negative energy? thanks!

@aman00777 You could put it in the glass with sea salt and cover it up :) The black salt can draw out negative energy from the crystal if you wanted to use it, but then you'd need to cleanse it in water again afterwards.

If your crystals fade in sunlight, the light of a full moon makes a good substitute :)

@NicoleEliz21 If that citrine has been properly cleansed and activated for such a job then yes, so long as it is a reasonable amount of crystals. Obviously it isn't going to be as effective with a huge crystal or loads and loads of tumblestones. But a handful will be fine. x

I don't know all my crystals. Is it fair to leave them lumped in a bowl on my altar? Will I still be able to use them for whatever even if I don't know which ones do which? Or should I leave each in it's plastic bag with what they are for. I've cleansed and charged them already.

@Rainy6969 If you hold a stone and meditate with it, it will let you know what it does for you, so you don't need to know them all (thought it may help you). Leaving them in a communal bowl is better than plastic bags - though if you cleanse and charge them befor use then using plastic bags is fine. x

@JuneYankee I got it at a market, but I have seen it lots online. Thank you :) Hmm... I usually would leave them over night or a whole day. It really depends on the person and the crystal. Some crystals may need longer or less time. Over night works easy for me :) x

can you clean your crystals with being around selenite? the local witch shop in my town the lady works there told me i can charge my crystals with selenite i have not read in my witch first grade book about selenite so im confused i have amethyst,rose quartz,smoky quartz,clear quartz,aventurine,citrine as my bigger crystals i need help with cleaning them and for charging them i just have to put them around citrine?thank you

@banulicious I'm not totally sure of the properties of Selenite, but I do believe it to be a stone of purity. If you want to cleanse them I'd suggest using water (if they are safe in water and won't be spoilt) and placing them by the selenite. If you put them by the citrine they will charge up nicely :) x

@azul303 I would clean it with warm water and salt afterwards, just as an added precaution, but burying is a very good method :)

@johnnyc9000 Yes. If the moon is waxing then the crystals with grow in power under them too. But full moon will always be mot influential. But waxing would still do the job.

The hole in the candle holder is ideal to pop another crystal in for cleansing then. Your own little mini amethyst dry cleaning machine eh! Oh crystals are the best, I have been working with them for 6 years or so now. Cleansing and charging is important but then programming is amazing with quartz too. Quartz wands can draw negativity out with an anti-clockwise action and put positive energy in with a clockwise motion. That large citrine point of yours was terrific. x

@Pagyptsian Thats true it is heated amethyst. I have some natural citrine which is much much paler. I think its good to question, and maybe get scientific back up to things..although science does not know everything, if you dont get a satisfactory answer when delving scientifically, dont dismiss the validity of things entirely. There is something unknown working away in the background, I am convinced of it x

I related so well to this video, as I am a crystal healer. You have some lovely crystals there, and if you can get a bed of amethyst, that will also cleans all your crystals. I have been buying small beds for years and have filled a large tray, so any crystals I know I will be needing for a healing, I lay onto the amethyst to cleanse. When you got to the bit about running around after children as work experience, I thought WOW! we are cut from the same cloth, I am a childminder. Blessed be x

@envyisasin The Sun of course works too :) I like charging crystals by the Sun as you can feel the heat energy on it :)

And yep all members of a coven/circle can contribute to the circle casting .

I don't think I can literally show you. You see everything on earth has an energy and this includes crystals. Different energies and minerals and even obviously elements can help you psychically and pyshisically - I mean for example if you look at the effects of copper and it's benefits in medicine. Crystals work the same.

i usually put them under sunlight on a Sunday and keep them out untill the next day, so they get sun on the day devoted to the God and moon on the day devoted to the Goddess. :D that's how i cleanse everything.

I collect snow during the winter, and store it in bottles. I then add kosher sea salt to make a solution for cleansing my working area, etc. Rain is great too! Oh, I was given two sets of tarot cards (just starting to learn). Should I cleanse them before using? I was thinking about passing them through incense smoke to start, then sun light and moon light to charge.
