It's like I can't get enough info on this game! And I still have to wait another month. Gah, but I think it'll be worth every painful second. Or at least I am banking on it to be. And with the announcement that we'll be getting the demo on Valentine's Day to play around would SHOULD get me through. I hope, haha. You really can't compare the plot of mass effect to any other - it's not like earth was just randomly invaded by some machines. You spend the first 2 games getting a sense of what the reapers actually are, with barely seeing any - and trust me, if you have played 1 and 2 you'll know just how awe inspiringly scary they are. I guess you can't really understand that if you haven't played the games - but for people like me who have, the trailer was just about the most awesome thing I've ever seen.

CoD has always had a community which is very anti-social when compared to games which have a rather active community such as Halo. Most players in Halo are much more talkative (although not necessarily a good thing), the vast majority of players of any CoD never talk. CoD has also seen better days just as Halo has. Gameplay of either have improved but their stories haven't and that's a little disappointing.

I'm not sure if it's trolling or just downright ignorance, but if we're going by the logic that because ME features aliens and space combat then it must be just a copy of Halo, then any other movie to ever feature robots must be a copy of transformers. Of course when we think of space combat we'll often think of Halo, Starcraft, Warhammer, etc, but that's because they're the biggest names out there, not because they're the first of their kind. P.S: It is possible to like ME, Halo, COD, etc. °o°

@LoveWTgothic Well, basically, he did. BioWare confirmed that you will be working together on a mission. Provided he survived your ME2 playthrough, of course, but it is absolutely possible to get everyone out of the Suicide Mission alive. :)

i hope it has somekind of rando encounter like in dragon age. it isnt fun to, like in mass effect 1-2, look for a anomaly in the galaxy or just take main and loyalty missions to have enemys to kill. i want it to be so that you will meet enemys more then just in missions

@jocke706 Wouldn't really fit in ME, I think. In DA you ran around a single nation, so it made sense to run into bandits, darkspawn, what-have-you, but in ME you're running around the galaxy. Pretty hard to randomly bump into each other in something of infinite size, I daresay. Besides, if all you're after is action I think you'd get more enjoyment from say Gears of War or Bulletstorm that Mass Effect.

@Bikerdude1234321 I'm a Halo fan since the first game and I call bullshit on that one. The similarities are few and the things that are actually close appear in most fiction. Also Halo was inspired by Aliens and partially Warhammer, but the story is unique. And ME story is also unique. Of course they will look for concepts and inspiration in previous successful titles. And I've read all books in both franchises, the style in which they're depicted is totally different.
