This piece is simply NOT TRUE. I live in Ireland. Our population is 6 million. Our Government have underwritten and given guarentees of over 10 billion. This equates almost exactly per head with the bailout in the USA. The same is true in the UK... in fact our bailout covers MBNA (Maryland Bank of North America?!?!)
The money now spent, the country in debt the banks are NOT lending, same in the UK and the rest of europe... this is NOTHING to do with nations, we have all been screwed, everyone!

A little history for these idiots: IN the 1930's the gov. made bailouts in the economy via tax and spending and it failed in the USA. In the 1990's in Japan, this form of economic policy failed too.
Still later Obama sought the same thing as assistance from the Europeans to bail out the banks and that failed. Go figure.
