@delamar1994 Actually Japanese isn't much simpler if one does not know East Asian languages. It is easier to pick up at first though, with the use of katakana and hiragana. Chinese characters require experience..

In what language is it in? Cantonese or Mandarin? I remember watching this whole anime in Chinese language but the voice of these people were different. Accents were different too. That one was certainly better, especially the voice of nameless.

On that note they might not be that different as Ao Jun, though protrayed as a single-minded individual from what I've seen in the story and rather rash at that, goes out of his way to rescue the boy at 1:30.... does anyone know who the boy is? just some "servant" or not as there is indication during a flashback of Ao Jun pursuing a relationship with a woman

The interaction between Nameless [is the one playing music, i forget what that's called but it almost looks like a "lute"] and Ao Jun [is the aggressor on the boat] this is just a small part of a far larger scene... to get an idea of what caused these two to fight you really got to watch the video and understand just how different those two are in persona as well as fighting mannerism/style

But Japanese originated from Chinese, Kanji is basically Chinese (Kanji is how they pronounce Han Zhi aka Han writing, Han being the Chinese ethnic). It also remains true that Chinese is capable of a vast expression of meanings for things so subtle they aren't present in other languages. Though Japanese had developed katakana (based on Kanji), hiragana and romaji, Chinese symbols still remain THE badass writing, even for them.
