My opinion: music today practically covers ever possible subject. They lack any uniqueness aside from the band itself. If you think it over, the subject matter back then was as unique as the music. Nowadays, it seems every song follows a certain template with neither order order nor innovation.

I tend to favor songs from 1930-1996 because of this.

@cobdog455 I've played fallout 3 for around 500 hours in 5 playthroughs. And near 100 in New Vegas. Don't call me a no lifer, I find time to play. Multiplayer would ruin the fallout experience of being a lone wanderer exploring a huge and open environment. Game developers have a budget, time limit, and limited amount of disc space to work with. Anyone who knows about game is really impressed by the size and length of the fallout 3 and NV.

Fallout is a one of the best games and it's kind of a huge irony. Why ?

-Theres song "I dont want to set the world on fire", but afterall the world IS set on fire

-Other songs suggest doing something which you can't now if you don't want to get radiated

-Scary places + Cheery old songs makes the best clima ever

-When you listen to the music and look around, you feel really sucked into the game
