Hegehogs are a great compromise between power, ammo, and availability. You're also usually pretty safe when directly above or below a boss.

The Juno is a more powerful version of the Vulcan, and there's 2 unknown fighters. You get the first one by beating the game on any difficulty and gettin all the bonuses. You get the 2nd one by beating the game on hard with no less than 2 continues.

Slight correction here. You need only get 15 of the 21 S. bonuses on any difficulty for the police ship (Unknown Fighter Type I).

For the Astraea FGA MK. II (Selene), you must beat the game on HARD, using no more than 3 continues.

dude... He uses the Hedgehog so well. I use a similar combo. i use the Wasp, cannon, and vulcan. Very nice music, love the vids!!! (ll^.^ll)

Yeah, it's the juno, and the other one your referring to may be the Python, it shoots out a string of bombs. I got all the weapons, I just need to unlock the last Unkown Fighter...I've been trying for many years to get it.

the last ship is awesome, i dled a game save to get it. whats wierd is im not sure if this is a glitch, but i've gotten hit while using it but without dieing. its wierd, blue bullet smacks right into the cockpit, then.... i shoot the perp.

at 2:50 when you were destroying that boat's head, there was a gun falls out. have you ever had that gun yet? it is a hugh machin gun. In this game There are also a gun called "mosqueto"(sp error) and the other one that i don't know the name of it. If you haven't have them than have fun finding them. (it took me a year to collect all the cannons by myself without cheating)

The other gun you spoke of is the Mosquito. The gunpod fires guided missles, controlled by the movement of your fighter.
