@MBAXMAN93 Well that's clearly bollocks, isn't it.
Shane Williams has scored, at the present date, 57 international tries. Habana has 38. Habana's a great player, but is nothing compared to what he was in '07. Turn the computer off and have a lie down before you post shit dismissing a whole squad of players again, because it could just leave you looking like a massive twat who doesn't know what they're talking about.
@The3VL1 The 'Welsh Jonah Slow-mo' George North is 6'4', Francois Steyn is 6'3'. Do you really need me to tell you which one is bigger? Brian Moore said that the 1st try wasn't an obstruction and he's a qualified ref, so he will undoubtedly know more than you about it. And how can you say he was offside in the second try, there are no camera angles showing it! To me you sound like a biased bastard just like the ref was, which was the only reason you won that match, except trying to kill Shane.
all you southern hemisphere twats are gonna choke when a northern team wins the rwc, you'll all have your heads so far up your own arses that you wont notice that the all blacks, RSA and aussies arent so invincible
@Yankman08 And your korean right.? when was the last time you was ever in th world cup you thick fucking dum cunt fuck off and die you peice ov shit window licking rugmuncher
@The3V1L1 I have, I proved you don't know what the fuck you're talking about, I have both the ref's decision and Brian Moore to back me up here. Not that I need it.
Honest question: have you ever played rugby? Because, frankly, your complete display of ignorance of the rules is only excusable if you haven't.
For the suckers who believed in this "Crossing" term used by @Wildebest. I've gone read the whole IRB Law book for 2011. The only time "Crossing" is used is at Law 19.G - Touch and Lineout. "Crossing" isn't even listed under "Definitions" in the Law book. The term "Obstruction" is listed under Law10 (Foul Play). As seen in 1:02 - 1:04, Law 10.1.c, A player must not intentionally move or stand in a position that prevents an opponent from tackling a ball carrier.
@The3V1L1 Now that we've established that crossing exists, let's try and make you understand it.
'Obstructing an opponent from tackling the ball-carrier (crossing).'
#12, JDV, CHOOSES to follow the run of #13, Shanklin. He gets fooled by 13's run. He is in no way OBSTRUCTED from tackling North, because he CHOSE/got fooled by Shanklin's run. He would not have tackled North even if there been no contact between 12 &13. So how can 13 obstruct 12? Easy answer; he wasn't. No crossing, great try.
OMG! You MUST be the BIGGEST FUCKING IDIOT I've seen on YouTube!? How is it possible that you are able to use a fucking computer!? Quote: "In the meantime, the CROSSING player has OBSTRUCTED the defender" Followed by the brain fart, Quote: "The SA did not get obstructed". ARE YOU SERIOUS!? He obstructed the SA defender, it is CLEARLY VISIBLE in the VIDEO.
So what if "Brian Moore" has labled it "CROSSING", it is STILL OBSTRUCTION, AS IN OBSTRUCTING THE DEFENDER. Fucking stupid ass!
@The3V1L1 Only just saw your reply. Use the @ key, dickhead.
It is commonly known as crossing, because it is a more specific part of the general offence of obstruction. Go to 12:20 of this video: watch?v=D7YKNn2JmGk. Hear what the ref says? Nigel Owens, a WC ref? 'NO CROSSING', because the obstructing run didn't impede the tackle (#10 didn't pass the ball). I'm sorry, but if you have never heard of crossing, you've clearly never played the game. And you're just another nerd playing the big man
i remember watching this game live and the better team lost south africa didnt deserve to win cause wen they did score if u roll back the just before the south africa tries everytime there should of been a penalty to wales like the first try brian habana should've had a yellow card for taking out the player in mid air
I think Wales SA could be a good game in the WC. Obviously SA are favourites but Wales have a chance of causing an upset. The Welsh back row is much stronger now than it was for this match. Also with Hook at 10 they could create more. SA arent the unstoppable force that they used to be. Lets hope Wales can finally play to their potential in a WC
Haha this is a joke we only have a few world class players at the moment like Matfield, Botha and Du Pleis...we are in trouble in the WC as we will most likely meet NZ at the semi finals :S
I'm afraid its all the same from South Africa again, powerful forward dominated play...boring stuff really. But it wins them games, simple as. Wales could and should have won this one, lets hope they don't throw these kind of games away come World Cup time.
this was like the aussie match Wales Aoutplayed them , but are giving away to many silly penalty's which are costing them matches , and untill they sort that out they wont be winning anny matches in the up and coming six nations
the ref was not consisntant in this match he was giving penalty's against Wales but not against southafrica eaven when the infingment they were doing was exactly the same , if u give penalty to one team form doing something wrong , you must do it to the other , and he clearly wasnt
this game was played at a slower pace than both the currie cup and the super 14. but the boys dont know and dont like the weather in the nh. yet they won. they dont have a coach yet they won. they were playing against a team that has one stadium they call home that they know and trust yet the boks won. the boks have politics dictating their selections yet they won. they were playing away from home in front of a hostile crowd yet they won. they have injuries to key players. yet they won.
Our tactics were wrong again! Why can't our backs sort themselves out? We need runners, running onto the ball, not standing flat and only start running when the ball hits their hands. We will never break down teams with pick and drives without runners! ps Bring back Gavin Henson ASAP!
@MBAXMAN93 Ok then , tell me that the ref didn't give some penalties to wales that shouldn't have been. The first welsh try was crossing, we got away with forward passes all game. SO DID YOU, but you capitalized of of it.
If you can't admit it, then just kill yourself because you are clearly not intelligent enough to realize it.
@MBAXMAN93 Nope. I mean we outclassed south africa and the only way that they kept us out was due to bad refereeing decisions. I'm pretty sure I made myself clear....
Now this is what you would call a "Bad day at the office" for the Springboks. Think Wales can thank their lucky stars as the Springboks only started pitching in the 50th minute. Great talent pool, that excludes Habana and Chillyboy! And the way the media carried on about this Welsh "Jonah Slow-mo" got me thinking this guy is a monster! Until I saw him, what a joke, 1st try scored by obstruction, 2nd he was miles offside... Francois Steyn was bigger than him!
Yeah, because he's been scoffing too many pastries in France the fat twat! The kid's 19, he's 6'5 and 17 stone. And he's fast. Evidenced by the fact that you need to accuse him of being offside for his second try just because he outsprinted the one season wonder Habana. He won't end up on the wing, either. He's a 13.
If you think his first try was obstruction, learn the rules you fat headed prick.
@wildebest Well well, aren't you the tough little keyboard bouncer!? I bet you must feel very proud of yourself after producing one of the most amazing brain farts ever seen on YouTube!? IF I were you, I would've checked the video FIRST. For example, go to 1:02 - 1:04 and have a look at no 13 red. Is he taking out 12 green and creating a huge gap? Isn't that obstruction!? And you claim that I need to "learn the rules"? You wanna suck my dick?
@The3V1L1 Aren't you the closeted homosexual...if you're that desperate to get your cock sucked by a guy, go to a gay bar.
If you had bothered to read my post below you would have seen it's not crossing (the correct name of the offence you think happened). But since you're retarded...it's only obstruction if he impedes the defender from defending. The SA defender was nowhere near North. Hence no crossing. Hence Brian Moore, a professional rugby player, saying it's not crossing. Specciiaallllll.
@wildebest Who said anything about "crossing" you special little boy!? The correct term for the offense I'm referring to is "Obstruction", as in a player must not intentionally move or stand in a position that prevents an opponent from tackling a ball carrier. If YouTube had a crayon font, maybe you would understand then!? The SA defender was nowhere near North, because he was BLOCKED by no 13 red. Now get over here and suck my dick you little retard
@The3V1L1 Firstly, this is crossing; the player CROSSING in front of the ball carrier, who passes BEHIND the CROSSING player to another RECEIVER. In the meantime, the CROSSING player has OBSTRUCTED the defender. So it is obstruction, but more specifically, it's crossing. And as for who mentioned it, Brian Moore did. A former England player with 60 odd caps. Fucking idiot.
The SA did not get obstructed; he would have to have been about to make a tackle on North. Which he never would have. Try.
Welsh played well!! Another game and i reckon they would have won. Will be good to see them vs the All Blacks.. hopefully will be more of game than the one they had with Scotland.
Come one guys lets look at stats here, Wales have only won a single game in the last 104 years? Granted the welsh looked good at times with ball in hand but questionable try?? Habana and Chilli Boy should not even be in the squad in light of current form? It was a good game and South Africa showed the world once again how to close out even with a bit of pressure from C.B. that thows like a one eyed goat.. If we kept Bismark on there would have been no pressure at the end! Bring IT on!!
Wales out classed south africa, but the ref was the worst I had ever seen so many things given that shouldn't have been and things that shouldn't be given were given. On both sides!! Wales and SA forward passed all game, but when south africa were given an unjust penalty they would capitalize and score. I'm not being a sore loser but when wales play well they can stand toe to toe with the all blacks, but when we see the performance and not the result its annoying.
It was a hard defeat to take after we started so well, and had the momentum. But you have to play for the full 80 minutes and be consistent, which we are having trouble with. Also South Africa didn't play consistently well for the full 80, but it's not how you start it's how you finish. There are signs of improvement there, we are not getting battered by the SH teams, we are competing with them. Anyway congratulations to South Africa, we'll see you at the World Cup.
The team who scored the most points didn't deserve to win at all, yet another Wales team scared of beating a southern side that's what it is, we out played and out classed you on the day. As per usual a stupid 10mincost us
@jason21jburg what do you mean wales are scared of beating a southie team? they got beat fare and square and by a better rugby team, a team who at the same time is not playing their best rugby. we are missing 13 regulars to injury. the team that beat you on saturday is not the same as the one that beat you in june. SH will always produce better rugby players. you outplayed and outclassed us? but we still won. so that must be a compliment, thanks.
@1:03 the 2-3switch with dummy 1-2 and give to wing behind 2 - saw a try off that move last weekend by "can't remember who (ABs maybe?)". A classic and pretty hard to defend out wide. They could have been pulled up for crossing because welsh 12 hits defender just as wing gets pass behind him. Touch and go.
@macgiollarnat No, it's only crossing if the player impedes the defender from making a tackle/continuing his run across the defensive backline.
What you see here is a dummy run. The SA defence got absolutly fooled by it. There's no one within 5 yards of North, and no defender could have laid a finger on North even if Shanklin hadn't ran into the defender. The SA defender went with Shanklin. He didn't read North; so it's not crossing. It is taking the man off the ball though...for both players
How the hell the boks got away with that, I'll never know. They're looking so unfit and sluggish. Take Habana 4example, out of position and simply doesn't have the speed he did 4 years ago.
Boks better pull finger out b4 England game, can't keep making excuses like having key players injured.
The All Blacks can produce 2x A teams at a drop of a dole cheque......pity the French will do them over again at the next RWC!
