thanx for the tips. i need to lose a littel remaining belly flab and was wondering for the abs exercise, what do you do with ur breathing? any more ab sepcific exercises? also after i do my ab work post 40 min cardio sessions, the day after i find my stomach looks fatter :( any tips? im 25 btw..i do sit-ups, oblique sit ups, raised legs obliques (like in ur video), side crunches, leg lifts, slowly lowering my legs while on my back for my lower abs. plank and press ups...still no luck
actually ATP is energy in general... when you work out and you're soar its because while you were working out oxygen wasnt getting to the cells enough and lactic acid fermentation takes place and lactic acid builds up making you soar. :3

@wollieniehaus actually its fine as this is not just a squat but more like a plie from ballet, just where your knees do go over your toes. as cass already does ballet her knees will be used to this, but i agree tht people who are not used to going that far may need to be more careful :)

and a tip when your doing squats is to stick your butt out more and not let your knees go past your toes because it can be bad for your knees. my mom had surgery on her knees and she know lots about that stuff:)

ATP is released all the time even when you simply tap your foot it doesnt make you sore. and if your sore the next day its because your muscle fibers rip and they are reparing

@raysoflight08 I don't partake in any of the above. I ride hunters, jumpers and equitation. I disagree with the way the horses can be mistreated in rodeos. The horses I've ever ridden do not dislike what they do.
@raysoflight08 Funny you feel that way, but some horses genuinely enjoy their jobs. Believe me, they have an eject button and can easily get you off if they're not feeling it. I can honestly say my horse loves being ridden. That's what horses are bred for.

@KasiChumChuda Gosh I know. I've been riding for ten years, and I'll be damned if I don't get a solid workout from riding. Riding horses IS a sport, contrary to popular belief, and it IS exercise.
@2hearts1jump It's a damn dangerous sport, too! People seem to think you sit on the horse and it knows what to do. You have to have such a strong bond with your horse/the horse you ride if you REALLY want to be able to work with it. I remember when I've taken breaks from riding, my legs and neck hurt so so bad after riding again. You use muscles you never knew existed! I must also say, I love your username :P
@KasiChumChuda I took an almost four month break from riding, and let me tell you what, the first time I got back on I thought my legs were going to fall off. Not to mention my arms, and my back muscles. The inside muscles of my thighs felt like someone took a fork to them and shredded the muscle haha. you do realize that working out with makeup makes your skin worse, right? when you sweat w/ foundation on it clogs your pores even more. trust me, i know it's embarrassing to work out in public w/out makeup, but you will see a difference in your skin if you stop working out with makeup.

Wrist weights that are meant to be worn when walking or running are a big no-no. It may seem like the added resistance would increase your calorie burn, but swinging that extra weight is a great way to tear a muscle or injure your shoulder joint. The same goes for ankle weights. If you wear them while walking or jogging, you might as well sign yourself up for a knee injury.
This helps me so much ive never had self confidence but you and your videos make me feel so much better about myself! Never felt so good in my life b4

I have a ton of medical problems and a lot of time I am not able to do much as far as movement goes. It is very frustrating because there are days where I cannot walk or move very well. I was able to use some ankle weights and do leg lifts so far. I was excited to know it was helping although I cannot do it all the time its really nice to hear some new ideas.
I would love to see a exercise "post" like you did with the tutorial ones you stopped doing. I am also excited to hear you try with the medical issues you have. My husband has RA as well and his is a lot more advanced then yours and he does work on a exercise routine daily that he's catered to his body needs and it helps his RA pain a lot.
I love your videos and I have just watched almost all of them. I used to do yoga for a long time and I am just getting back into it now. I hurt my ankle a month ago and I havent been able to really work out much but yoga has been helping keep in shape. And your video was very empowering and helped me get off my butt and do my work out for the day.

First: I know you do ballet, so it's probably habit, but you want to have your toes flexed when you're doing Yoga, not pointed.
Second: You'll be able to keep your balance a lot better if you don't arch your back so much. Try to tilt your pelvis upward and rotate your hips. Even just maintaining this posture daily can do a lot for your abs.

@oceaniapoo I'm totally a beginner too, but I tried doing each of her exercies (the plank, elephant, leg pumping ect.) for 5 minutes at a time(setting a timer really helps). Turning on some music and doing it to the beat helped me a lot.
I took aerobics during the summer and my instructor said that using ankle weights too much loosens joints like ankle joints and wrists like this one lady always used them and she can barely stand on heels. Just a little fyi! Not to be offensive or anything :)

@klairexoxo I too have had J.R.A. since I was two (I'm 19 now) and up until 6 months ago I thought I was going to be in a wheelchair all of my life. At one point I couldnt turn my head, close my jaw, move my knees or fingers and they told me that my only option was to stay on harsh medications and suffer it all my life. As an experiment I stopped eating gluten and I've been in remission ever since, pain free. Please try it, even if it's just a month, it's hard but worth it. :)

I have a ton of medical problems and a lot of time I am not able to do much as far as movement goes. It is very frustrating because there are days where I cannot walk or move very well. I was able to use some ankle weights and do leg lifts so far. I was excited to know it was helping although I cannot do it all the time its really nice to hear some new ideas.

I would love to see a exercise "post" like you did with the tutorial ones you stopped doing. I am also excited to hear you try with the medical issues you have. My husband has RA as well and his is a lot more advanced then yours and he does work on a exercise routine daily that he's catered to his body needs and it helps his RA pain a lot.

I love your videos and I have just watched almost all of them. I used to do yoga for a long time and I am just getting back into it now. I hurt my ankle a month ago and I havent been able to really work out much but yoga has been helping keep in shape. And your video was very empowering and helped me get off my butt and do my work out for the day.

Your yoga posture is a bit off. =p
First: I know you do ballet, so it's probably habit, but you want to have your toes flexed when you're doing Yoga, not pointed.
Second: You'll be able to keep your balance a lot better if you don't arch your back so much. Try to tilt your pelvis upward and rotate your hips. Even just maintaining this posture daily can do a lot for your abs.
But great advice! =]

I am in an advanced one class at the moment which is once a week but I don't seem to make much improvement from week to week just because I can't think of anything to do at home apart from stretch. @oceaniapoo I'm totally a beginner too, but I tried doing each of her exercies (the plank, elephant, leg pumping ect.) for 5 minutes at a time(setting a timer really helps). Turning on some music and doing it to the beat helped me a lot.

I took aerobics during the summer and my instructor said that using ankle weights too much loosens joints like ankle joints and wrists like this one lady always used them and she can barely stand on heels. Just a little fyi! Not to be offensive or anything :)

@klairexoxo I too have had J.R.A. since I was two (I'm 19 now) and up until 6 months ago I thought I was going to be in a wheelchair all of my life. At one point I couldnt turn my head, close my jaw, move my knees or fingers and they told me that my only option was to stay on harsh medications and suffer it all my life. As an experiment I stopped eating gluten and I've been in remission ever since, pain free. Please try it, even if it's just a month, it's hard but worth it. :)
