  • catholic "apologists" are so shallow. First off the Ante Nicene Fathers were NOT catholic. Catholic's idea of apologetics is nothing more than shouting down your opponent. They are not interested in the truth. Just peddling more nonsense.

  • @123WalshJack St Ignatius , Bishop of Antioch and a "Ante Nicene father" in 107 AD wrote Letter to the Smyrnaeans 8 in which he wrote" Wherever the bishop appears, there let the people be; as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church." this is the earliest written use to date of the Catholic Church and it predates Nicea by 2 centuries and is at the end of the Apostolic age. In fact the Catholic Church has existed since 33 AD!

  • @EqualAndFree Your comments are stupid and innane. The Bible is true because it's historical and will stand up to the public scrutiny that is applied to any classical piece of literature. No other gods claimed to rise from the dead.

  • Background Music is unnecessary and very annoying!

  • christs church is catholic. Catholic meaning universal. God's church went out to the world baptising people in the name of the divine trinity. therefore, the church is Catholic.

  • words fail me at times as to the arrogance of some catholics ..' it is our book ' . it was not written by catholics !! there has never been any passage of scripture mentioning the word catholic . where does Christ say that his church is the catholic church ?? Christ was a jew not a catholic . He went to his fathers house = the temple not the vatican !! i could go on but hey i know i will be dismissed simply because i dont agree with this kind of doctrine . mama mia

  • review the history of the bible so you will know where did the bible originated...

  • @paulinesmith44 review the history of the bible ...for goodness sakes where were the catholic scholars during old Testament times ?? You can only make this claim for the New |Testament ...It was JEWS who WROTE the bible not the catholics , who translated it to their own beliefs ...Christ's Church is CHRISTIAN and NONE other

  • Something devine shouldn't need an apologist

  • I love my faith but The way I expressed was horrible.

  • To Theflanke35, u criticize Catholics but Protestant politicians r not free of sin look at bill Clinton,Barack Obama, George Bush, they r all Protestants. Can u support your statement of Catholics banning the Bible with real historic fact? No cuz there is none.

  • To Hawklanzs; You accused the Catholic Church of being the Whore of Babylon, simply because the pope kissed the Koran. The pope can commit sin just like u sin, sin is universal, but does not make Catholic the whore. Whoever is free of sin let him cast the first sin. Catholic teach the pope is infallible when teaching excatedra, this does not mean he cannot sin. Ignorance emerges out of u.

  • nice

  • If faith and works were to save people, why would the death of Christ matter at all?

Why do Catholic leaders all turn out like either Francisco Franco or Ted Kennedy?

Why did Catholics hate individual rights and call it the "heresy of Americanism"?

Why did Catholics outlaw ownership of the Bible?

  • @TheFlanker35 About "catholic" politicians, I couldn't even hazard a guess at just how many politicians use "being catholic" as a campaign tool to boost their public appeal. Practically none of the ones that do this have anything to do with the faith, ever practice the faith, or indeed have any faith whatsoever. It is up to our bishops to deal with fakers like these by refusing them holy communion, or, in particularly bad cases, by excommunicating them from the church.

  • WATCH THE YOUTUBE VIDEO CALLED: The Truth About Mary and Scripture: must see!

  • Defend,Live,Love and Learn the CATHOLIC FAITH. God Bless.

  • To Catolicos child rape=petty gossip.

    End the myths..

  • LOL, Pope kissed the Quran.

    Whore.

    End of Story.

  • @hawklanzs --Does that mean he was a secret muslim? I believe this was "the kiss of peace" given to all muslims through that gesture.

  • @AtomicMonster454 Muslim? who knows? Do u think Jesus would kiss that pagan book? You guys change the Bible's teaching as and when it suits your needs. U don't kiss that pagan book. U kiss the Imam if u wish but NOT that Book who teaches you should kill all unbelievers.

One phrase to describe Catholism. WHORE of Babylon.

  • @hawklanzs --thank you for your kind words mr christian; I wish the whole world was more like you.

  • @AtomicMonster454 Thats right my brother. U hug, U love the Muslims, the Buddhists. You show them the LOVE of Christ. Not by kissing the Quran or the Buddhist Idols.

God bless you brother. Thanks for your time. I hope we can share and learn from each other more.

  • @hawklanzs --No, I was being sarcastic, mr christian; you should repent from speaking evil against the elect of Christ, such as the Holy Father.

    ---------------------

    Turn or burn.

  • @AtomicMonster454 ah the elect of Christ. Theres so much argument in-print and discussions as to who the 'elect' of Christ is. I have not argument with you. I just know that the person that represents Your religion speaks much about the morals behind it. Same for Muhammud and the same for your 'priests'. They have defiled the nature of your practices. I will speak no further on this because I know who and what lurks behind it all.

  • @hawklanzs good. no-one respects your opinion anyway.

  • I don't understand something... at around 2:20 you list 3 types of apologetics. The first one is natural, defined as truths we can determine without supernatural intervention, through the light of reason. The first of these that you list is the existence of god. Now, I'm not trying to start an argument here; I am trying to learn the catholic apologist's answer to someone who says, "ok, if you're only using reason, what evidence is there for the existence of God?"

    Thank you.

  • Interesting.....and yet pious. AS if ONLY through Catholicism one could hold true the beliefs of the bible. Yes, we are to confess our sins, most importantly to those we have sinned against, not priests. No man cometh to the father but through the son.

  • @LDSapologist71 "*You can be baptized 100 times and if not done by one ordained it won't count.*" Show me this in the Bible, please

  • excellent

  • both luther and calvin were strong supporters of confession

  • oh my GOD ,,GOD BLESS YOUR its about time someone lay down law !!!

  • AMEN!

  • proof it!

  • 1 john 1:9 If you confess your sins He is faithful and Just to forgive us our sins and ccleans us from all unrightousness that is just one verse about confessing your sins to God, you can confess your sins to one another and Jesus said you will be healed in james but there is more scriptures then just in james the bible is God speaking to us weather you are catholic or lutheran or any other onelook at the next few verses after iJohn 1 9

  • @conceil8

Just so you know, Jesus Christ had two missions.

    1. He formed a church with a foundation of apostles and prophets. The apostles were ordained with authority to act in the name of God.

(but due to the wicked people around them, they were martyred.)

    2. Jesus Christ, the divine almighty God, came to save mankind IF they will accept him, and are baptized by one holding the correct authority.

*You can be baptized 100 times and if not done by one ordained it won't count.*

  • Not true. Baptism and Matrimony are valid outside the church.

  • @purplecwagon

    FAIRLDSdotORG

    for the truth

  • LDSapologist Go away. Joseph Smith was a con man and Mormonism in no way passes the smell test. Not even close. Wake up.

  • Matrimony yes, but only in the eyes of the state. But Baptism???

  • john martignoni YOU ROCK !!!!

    HAHAHHA GREAT KEEP GOING

  • In catholicism there is an actual art of defense because it can be down. In protestantism it's called attacking, closemindedness unill the open up and realize that their taling their heads off an running in circles....Catholicism can be defended on EVERY point, protestantism cnnot be.

  • Very interesting twist on words in order to reach a ridiculous theological position. This argument will surely impress those who have very limited Scriptural knowledge as the average Catholic does. Am i to assume that a good Catholic after listening to this presentation will open up their Bible and research these verses, their meaning and context? I am very doubtful. "The Bible is a Catholic book". This requires a serious mental strain to pronounce and its shameful.

  • Whereas your position requires a wilful submission of intellect and reason and a wilful desire to destroy the Church that Christ founded.

    Blessings, despite yourself.

  • Sorry to disappoint you, but your anti-Catholic rhetoric is old and, quite frankly, displays your need to hate something, so joining the community of Catholic haters, in a world where it isn't just politically correct but an obligation to attack the Church, shows to me that you wilfully accept the hate propaganda as you are comfortable with it and lazy.

  • I've heard so many "facts" that, at least in the 21st Century, are so easily either totally disproved, or shown to be an incomplete and selective version of the facts, to dismiss people such as yourselves as inherently in need of a bigotry to feel good and superior about yourself.

    Blessings, despite yourself.

  • So pointing to a lavish lifestyle, historically and presently is 'hate propaganda'? I'm only drawing your attention to the utter discrepancy between the church Christ left and the monarchy it has become. Not only that, but the course of actions the Roman Church has taken in the last 1000 years in assuming a Petrine succession without a shred of Biblical support, buying and selling the Papacy between wealthy families. The ball is in your court....Can you show me this monarchy in the Bible?

  • What you 'point to' is post-"reformation/protest" / post-"enlightenment" propaganda to destroy the Church (the former to replace it).

What truth there might be within that propaganda does not prove the whole to be true. Those who spread this are either fools who hate themselves and grab this propaganda as an avenue for their hate, or are deliberately and wilfully doing so. Either way they do not represent the truth nor the complexity, of the 2000 year history of the Church and Christianity.

  • You assume too much sir. And, as a proponent of pseudo-history, history by ideological narrative, you are the last to consider yourself an "authority" to question anyone's intellectual integrity or mental ability.

Do some research, find out the facts away from your usual sources. I know you will find that your position is not as strong as you believe.

It is indeed a very complex 2000 year history - one the covered the conception, birth pains, birth and growth of the Western civilisation.

  • @Prophettessa Bless you for defending our faith. Pro Deo Omina. It would have been easier to tell this person to fuck off.

  • Thank you so much for your video it is helping me understand, explain and defend my Catholic faith. May The Lord Bless You!!!

  • awesome videos of yours, they are helping me so much!!!!

  • yeah!!!!

  • /watch?v=fFH0khjgA0U

  • thanks for sharing..

I really need this to show to my protestant friends.

  • Great work bro

  • Thank you for sharing with us how to handle Catholic apologetics. Surely we will keep this lesson in mind while we share the TRUE Gospel of Christ with these "apologists."

  • tnx for the comment

    GOD bless...
