  • Thank you for upload and this wonderful episode from Wonderama

  • cool

  • so sweet

  • The kidz today dont experience of these programs with sing along songs, exercise songs or the variety of segments in a show..compare to what we have experience as kids back then.. Thats why some kids do alot of negative things today...Cause on TV now they dont even show cartoons or Kidz Variety Shows unless you have Cable..Everthing is a Sitcom on the local channels..Sad

  • I rmember the heart attack thought I was going to have to see the jackson's on wonderama and seeing that they could kiss him. It all comes back!

  • I remember this!! The girl kissing kissing Michael, the whole thing! Amazing...

  • I remember this very episode, as well as the rather interesting choice of booking two of the Monty Python crew. I also remember the DEAD silence that they got trying to explain the game in the "Monty Python Big Red Book" called "Pass the Bengal Tiger". They did get a laugh by pretending to fall over, though.

  • I wanna grab Randy and squeeeeeze him he is so adorable. <3 Michael is Love <3

  • Has anybody here got an aardvark?

  • It's hard to believe stories that Jackson's dad beat the crap out of Marlon because he couldn't dance!?? In my opinion he was one of the better dancers in the group...Maybe dad should have beat the hell out of a lot of singers to better their careers. lol

  • @ekocentric He danced pretty darn well in my eyes. Joe don't know what dancing is. He's too busy trying to make a buck.

  • OMg I remember that day, It was great to see it on TV that was like a trifecta ! The Jacksons on Wonderama! I thought I had imagined it. It is all coming back to me now, I remember being jealous of the girl that was there, and also getting yelled at and my father storming in all scary and wild eyed to turn down the tv on a sunday morning.

  • What year was this?

  • @david510152025303540 It had to be 1976. that was when Enjoy Yourself was released as part of the first album they had under the new contract at CBS, Records.

  • Get the F*@K outta HERE! The Jacksons were on Wonderama?

  • @daddysingsforu I saw it when it was first broadcast!

  • Damm! I remember this show! WONDERAMA WAS THE SHOW!!!

  • I wacthed wonderama before I went bowling on Saturdays and then came back from boeling and watched Groovy Ghoolies and Soul Train.

  • Would love to see guess your best segments again.

  • Wonderama was my FAVORITE SHOW as a kid growing up in Southern Cal.

  • yuck!!!i dont like those costumes especially marlon's

  • but michael's still sexy!!

  • ....I also remember passing by the dressing room which was close to the bathroom on the set. Does anyone remember..."nandie candie, fruit-strip gum......LOL! I have always treasured that moment and treasure it even more now that MJ is no longer with us. It has been a moment in my life I will never forget!

  • Hello Everyone,

That was me on the Wonderama show!!! My name is Karen. My brother actually found it a couple of months ago, I could not believe it. That was the show that also had Jose Feliciano as a guest! I wish I had more footage.....

    Have a great holiday!

  • That was Yooouuuu that got kissed by MJ??? WOWOWOW!! Dang, I bet that was soooo cool for ya.... I loved this show. So much fun. Peace. : )

  • OMG, what a wonderful memory. I just loved that show and wanted to be on it so badly, but never really knew how to make it happen. I am happy for you getting that kiss even over 30 years later. RIP, MJ.

  • Wow, you are the luckiest person in the world.

  • @ThatboyMagic wow u were so lucky, i always wanted to go on that show..what year was that i remember watching that episode. i'm trying to figure out how old i was at the time (:

  • @ThatboyMagic I remeber that episode like it was 7 years ago! And I remember I was soooooooo jealous when Michael kissed you!!! You lucky girl!

  • @ThatboyMagic Wow I just was wondering if Wonderama was on here cause therei s so much stuff on here and I chose your video to watch...I never missed this show if I could help it! I am glad you experience that moment! I wanted to go on wonderama as a child. I would have been the same age as Michael was at the time. I had a chane to go see him in LA and got in trouble at school and missed my oopportunity! Take Care and God bless you and your brother (that was nice of him to find this for you).

  • Dear D.Block, If you think that the Sonny Fox and Bob McAllsiter versions of "Wonderama"are long? The original Sunday Afternoon edition hosted by Sandy

Becker(The show's first mc)was six hours long. and he had

co-hosts/performers on that edition of the show.

  • Also, my brother remembers Michael sitting on a stool and singing to some little girls during one of his appearances on the show. What song did he sing? Does anyone remember?

  • I wish I could've gone on the show. It looked like so much fun. I was told you had to be at least 7 to be on the show.

I was and still am a huge Jacksons fan and I remember their appearances on the show. For those of you who were there, didn't the J5 do "Dancing Machine" and they wore what looked like sweat suits? Forgive me, but that was a long time ago and my memory is a little foggy.

  • I was on this show as well ..Not the day MJ was on but another time. My Aunt own a beauty parlor right next door to where they filmed the show and got my sister and I tickets ! But i can't find the espisode on was on ...lol

  • I was one of the kids in the audience and i performed with this lady in chicago and they presented themselves to me and my brother they were the nicest people i will never forget that truly blessed

  • omg i remember the Jacksons being on WONDERAMA i was like 6 years old

  • We said "hi" and headed towards the bathroom. Out of nowhere,Michael came up behind us. I was the last one to enter the bathroom, and when I tried to close the door, Michael was holding the door and said,"ONLY KIDDING". Not I'm sorry but, "ONLY KIDDING". We screamed like crazy.

  • Aww Cute! LOL Michael! I Want a kiss! :( LOL

  • GOD..., I watched this as a kid. Still remember it!

    R.I.P. MJ!

    PEACE

  • love it, how can one get a copy?

  • this is so crazy...I was also at the show with my brother... I remember for some reason that the little girl broke michael's gold chain...and michael gave her the chain....or was that just a rumor spreading fast on the set

  • I was at this show! Does anyone know how I can get a copy of this show?

  • Small world so was I.

  • I was the Disco Kid on the preceding show. No kiddin'; sorry I missed this one.

  • I sooooooo remember this, he was defininately the GREATEST rest in peace my prayers to you and your family

  • OMG THIS is how I remember Michael Jackson. I would look so forward to the Jackson 5 and the osmounds being on here. RIP

  • Thank you for posting this! I remember this show in particular. I am floored that ANY of this footage exists.

Wonderama, over the years featured, the Bay City Rollers, BT Express, Stephanie Mills and Ted Ross from the cast of "The Wiz", Stan Lee and even Sen. Robert Kennedy, when Sonny Fox was the host.

  • OK, this shows my age. I was old enough to see this on TV back in the early 70's. That girl is probably in her early 40's today like myself!

  • MacCallister sounded a little high reciting that memory...

  • This show always had the latest acts and the latest toys. Where do you see that today?

  • I was on this Wonderama and I remember meeting Michael and the rest of The Jacksons. My sister used to work for channel 5 back in the days. We had so much fun that day.

  • What's up Jean, That was the best time we ever had. Your sis didn't tell us that we were seeing them that day. Oh yeah I still have the autographs. do you remember Janet riding the bike in the back of the stage and we were scared to say hi to the Jackson 5 because Mr Jackson looked so mean. I was 9 years old and I guess you were 10. Those were the days, I want to see the whole show, remember the girl Michael was singing to and what was said back stage.... heheehe

  • This ain't Jean,but whats up anyway!!!

  • Hi, sorry about that. I did talk to Jean, some how I click reply under your name.

  • Jean? This is Betty

  • Girl, do you remember when Michael followed us into the ladies room and he held the door and said, "I'm Sorry". We screamed and throw the toilet paper all over the bathroom. We never did get a chance to go to the bathroom though. Beautiful memories of Michael and The Jacksons.

  • Wait, can you say the story again with a little more description? It sounds funny.

  • My older sister used to work for Channel 5 and we were on The Wonderama Show. The Jackson 5 were on the show as well. My two younger sisters and I along with two of our friends had to go to the bathroom. As we were walking down the hallway, we saw Joe Jackson,Randy and Marlon.

  • ? if wonderama is still around would it featured guest stars as 50 cent, R.Kelly, Britney Spears, Kid Rock, Chris Brown...

  • These are the days when local tv mattered.

  • I remember seeing this!

  • man i have been searching for years for this show wonderrama no one remembers but i new i wasnt crazy thanks
