I didn't really realise until I saw this video but yeahhh, the supporting cast is AMAZING! The movie wouldn't have been the same without them, even with the hotness that is Matthew Macfadyen :)

I read the book too, but I don't think Darcy is exactly arrogant. I mean his parents died when he was just out of college basically and didn't really have a chance to live young (after all, he was extremely serious in studies, right?) so he just grew up too fast and is socially awkward. So he's socially awkward and shy me thinks. And all he knows is his 'rich' background and friends, so yeesh.

But yes, Lizzie does change him after she denies his first proposal.

He's not just shy. In the book, he is prideful, arrogant, conceited, haughty. The point is that Lizzie changes him.

i think that pride and prejudice is the best movie ever, i've said to a lot of movies that they're great, but this one i really mean, great cast, brillant director and all the people surrounded by it are all brillant, very inspiring story, i adore jane austen, and erm this is so so fantastic

i think that joe wright is a brilliant and talented director,his 2 movies are masterpieces and just breathtaking, Pride and Prejudice and Atonement are my favourite movies!

joe wright is something special. he really is so different than any other director because he understands human emotion. i like when he says "it's not about the two most beautiful people in the room,it's not about the two most stylish people in the room, it's about MAGNETISM! for anyone that has had that kind of attraction with someone we know what that means and how true it is!!

Matthew and Keira are, in my opinion, two of the most talented actors in leading roles I've ever watched. Also, the chemistry between them is great. I think Matthew's right. Mr. Darcy is such a shy guy. I love shy guys XD

Joe Wright did consummately job,difintley.

The way he made this movie was magician.When I had seen that for the first time I thought that I wasn't watching into a movie...he concentrated on the little special things that move around us,whom make the film to have such deeply implication...having this distinction that movie is really,really fantastic.

It's about choreography & the supporting cast. It's not bad (content wise).  The quality of the video = ok.
