@ausrotten9 You are correct. The average human ear cannot hear frequencies under 20Hz. But this is the beauty of and the exact reason why binaural beats were created. Your not actually hearing 7.83Hz but perceiving it in the mind. The actual Hz you are hearing is around 400 and differs in each ear. The left ear is playing 450Hz and the right ear is playing 457.83Hz. The way the brain works is by creating and entraining to a third tone or 'binaural Beat' of the difference between the two.

@tsilarakos Every person is different but it's in the general area of 16-20Hz. Women can hear slightly lower Hz than men for example but that's not really important nor does it matter because like I said earlier the actual Hz that you are hearing is around 400.

@tsilarakos Technically you do not "hear" binaural beats. The human brain "creates" the frequency that is between the 2 frequencies that are being played.

i have a "dog wistle" application that plays sounds from 0.0 Hz. to 20.0 Hz. and I can hear all the sounds from 0.10 Hz. up to 16.6 or so. and ive found that children can hear up to 19.0 Hz in some of my friends children. maybe you have this information backwards?

@tsilarakos you are hearing both 450 and 457.3 Hz which creates an interference modulation that is 7.8Hz. You are not hearing an audio waveform at 7.8 Hz, your hearing a "wobble" in the sound that wobbles at 7.83 Hz

What I meant was, what do binaural beats have to do with the Schumann's Resonance? Our perception may be fooled, but our bodies simply respond. The subconcious perceives 7,83Hz, but for our body it's still 450Hz and 457,83Hz.

@ausrotten9 yes but that fact is irrelevant. 7.83 is the difference and between the frequency being played in the left speaker/headphone and the right speaker/headphone. The brain is what perceives the frequency not the ears.
