  • haha I can hear LeeJunKi's song in the background^_^

  • erm I saw a video once, the japanese were traveling in vans and speaking on loudspeakers, "japan for japanese!!" and NO FOREIGNERS on doors. yeees thats very polite. /sarcasm

  • Korea rocks. Been there for 7days. Absolutely great.

The way they serve you food in a restuarant is as quick in a blink of an eye.

    Great people too!

  • people interested in seeing the "typical" streets of seoul should go to myungdong명동, hongdae/hongik university홍대, e-dae/ehwa women's university이대, sinchon신촌, apgujung?압구정(go to the rodeo road로데오거리).

  • You are lucky bustard. If I could, I want live there forever :)

  • im going to korea next summer but i dont really speak alot of korean. would the taxi drivers or hotel people understand me ?

  • Just make sure you have the hotel name written down in Korean to show the taxi driver.

  • Hey, it all depends on where you are staying. Mind you that many 5 star or 4 star hotel employees can speak english (or german in some others).

  • @uyenskye every taxi drivers use Interpreting service from Seoul City Council. So if you speak in English, the driver will hand over a phone and u will be connected to the international service. Korean taxi drivers are very kind compares to other countries.

  • ahh...they're playing the single of lee jun ki in the background hahaha

  • haha thanks for the lovely comments! I totally agree! everyone shou;d visit Korea and indeed the people are awesome!

  • Korea is awesome...Everyone always talk about Tokyo, or Hong Kong etc blah blah blah...Try visiting Seoul...you'll love it...The people are awesome...wish Americans were as friendly...

  • yes, the Japanese are more polite. I agree. It's very superficial because behind your back with family and friends, they don't exactly think too highly of you... nicest way to put it.

Koreans (not all) can be rough around the edges (I know, I'm Korean) but if we don't like you, we don't like you. Fair enough. And if it shows that we DO like you, it's for real, we won't badmouth constantly behind your back and then pretend to be your "friend" only when you're around. So yeah, we're less polite

  • Yeah i returned from South Korea yesterday and there were quite a number of people that were rude, but in all honesty, its perfectly understandable as most westerners are noisy, disrespectful and have some kind of superiority complex. I am an anglo saxon white myself and i find a lot of behaviour from my own country "Australia", America & England both disgrace and an embarrassment. I love South Korea not just for the people but for EVERYTHING! .. would love to go back real soon.

  • @blade004

Do you have any idea how generalizing, self-hating and ridiculous that sounds? All throughout Japan, I saw TONS of other other westerners...and not one of them was loud or impolite. Just very quiet people minding their own business like everyone else. Where are you getting this assumption from??

  • what are you talkign about koreans arent trying to impress anyone -_-

wtf. not all japanese pple are nice

  • they do...

  • You're going to run into some bad eggs along the way, especially in large cities...not just in Korea or Japan but all over the world. Also...who exactly are you trying to impress? You've been to Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto. Great?...meh

  • I LOVE SEOUL

  • cool
